This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Last night, the person named Anthony who assisted me during check-in first made us wait 30 minutes to register because he was conducting an audit at 2:10 a.m. Afterward, he requested the room deposit in cash and refused to provide me with a receipt for it. I asked him to return my money and cancel my reservation; in response, he called the police because I refused to hand over the cash deposit without receiving proof of payment. Subsequently, he charged me for the room, even though I had canceled the reservation on the spot because he was behaving with complete rudeness. Please do not go to this hotel; it is the worst I have ever visited.

Great service, very helpful, good food on the breakfast. Room odor was the only issue, but they were very accommodating to change rooms.

The room was in terrible shape. Sheets were ripped and stained even. All of the furniture is peeling. The carpet was peeling and it looks like someone when crazy with a staple gun. Room smelled like cat pee. Not in good shape. Should have drove the extra distance to Smithfield.

This was unfortunately my worst hotel experience to date. Just a few hours after checking in, I had to switch rooms due to a malfunctioning toilet and television. I requested two adjoining first-floor rooms for myself and two elderly relatives in their 80s. Unfortunately, the hotel was booked with a large group of guests who were quite loud and disruptive, and the strong odors of marijuana and alcohol were pervasive throughout the hallways and common areas. This created an uncomfortable and unsafe atmosphere, leaving me concerned about the security of my relatives and my vehicle in the parking lot. The room rate was prepaid via credit card, with no option for a refund until checkout, and there's also a $100 incident fee per room, which feels excessive. I do want to note that Shanese at the front desk was very helpful in facilitating the room change, and the other clerk I interacted with was polite and accommodating. That said, the overall property has clearly declined significantly, and it no longer feels like a safe or welcoming place to stay—especially for vulnerable guests. I would not recommend it in its current state.
