I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel, especially as a Diamond member who relies on consistent service and professionalism. From the moment I arrived, I felt dismissed and mistreated. Although I was acknowledged as a Diamond member at check-in, I was immediately charged a higher rate than what I booked. When I asked to be moved to a floor with better internet service, I was told that “most business people just buy internet,” which was unprofessional and dismissive of my status and needs.
As a Black woman traveling alone, the way I was treated made me feel racially profiled. I observed a clear difference in how other guests were helped compared to how I was spoken to and rushed along. When I brought my concerns to management, the response was passive and minimized—as if I should simply accept the experience. I later learned that Elba Fuller stated I was “ok” with the situation, which is untrue and further added to my frustration.
I have never had an experience like this at any other hotel. The lack of proper protocol for Diamond members and the dismissive treatment I received left me feeling unsafe, unheard, and deeply disappointed. I am sharing this because I would not want another woman traveling alone—especially a woman of color—to experience the same harmful energy I felt here. This hotel needs serious improvement in customer service, accountability, and respectful treatment of all guests.

Tv doesn't work very well. Constant freezing and distortion. Toilet paper feels like sandpaper. Staff were friendly and helpful as much as they could.

Here’s why I’m giving three stars:
A little backstory — my family and I have been staying at this hotel for about a month during the sale of our old home and the purchase of our new one. We’re a clean and respectful family who takes pride in keeping things neat, and we’ve never minded cleaning up a little ourselves when something is missed.
While sitting in the hotel’s cozy lounge finishing up some work and relaxing, I overheard the head of housekeeping come down to speak with the front desk. She began talking about a room that her cleaner had just finished and said that the guests had “destroyed the room.” She went on to describe the beds, the bathroom, the sheets and even the walls — exaggerating the situation completely.
Now, to be fair, the hotel overall is kept pretty clean. However, it’s easy to notice what’s been missed when you’ve stayed a while. The room we moved into afterward had a sticky spot on the floor, a few marks on the bathroom wall, and some areas in the shower that were overlooked. We didn’t make a fuss — we understand that things get missed and simply cleaned it ourselves.
What made this upsetting was hearing the head of housekeeping lie and exaggerate about us “destroying” a room, especially knowing how clean we keep things. When I confronted her respectfully, she tried to backtrack and said “she didn’t mean it that way”. She then mentioned that rooms are supposed to be cleaned every two days — but during our stay, they were only cleaned about once a week, and that was only because we had to practically beg the front desk to have someone come by they never asked or let us know. My mother works third shift but she would always fall asleep waiting for them. We never refused service or had a “Do Not Disturb” sign on our door; we were simply waiting for them to do what’s stated in their own policy.
After our conversation, I was willing to let it go — until I stepped out of our new room and heard her again, continuing to talk about us and making disrespectful comments behind our backs. If you’re going to talk about guests, at least be discreet — not loud enough for them to hear you.
Old me might’ve handled that differently, but growth looks like choosing peace while still addressing what’s wrong. I just hope management takes this as an opportunity to correct unprofessional behavior and train their staff better.
Other than that experience, the hotel itself is calm and peaceful. The breakfast is good, the lounge area is cozy, and Jhonny at the front desk deserves recognition — he’s always respectful, kind, and professional.

I’ve really enjoyed my stay here! A quiet and very clean place. The front desk ladies during the evening shift are incredibly kind and welcoming — they always greet you with a smile and go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable. It’s so refreshing to see such genuine hospitality.
Would stay here again!
