We were here for a fishing lure convention. Lobby was beautifully styled and had an upscale high-end end look. Everyone was very friendly.

Room is very nice. Hotel is nice except for the lack of parking for Handicapped folks. Breakfast is OK but very expensive for what is provided. I wish there were more Hotels in this area.

This is probably the “best” hotel in an area filled with low quality hotels, so take that as you will. It needs serious renovations. The hotel is outdated and dingy. There was a bug in my room…under normal circumstances, I would never stay here.

Hilton in Gastonia is a good stay, however there are several issues. One is the price of breakfast and snacks. I didn't really like the price, but I do love how there's restaurants nearby to go and eat.
Another issue is the disgusting insects. I was able to see several stink bugs and even some on my bed.
Overall, the stay and experience was great, had a good time with family.

I’ve been a loyal guest at this Hilton Garden Inn for years, but my recent experience has left me utterly disappointed. During my breakfast visit, the music was so loud that it was almost unbearable. I approached the waitress to inquire about the issue, and she informed me that they frequently receive complaints about the noise level. She had even complained herself to the management, but unfortunately, her efforts were futile.
The next day, the situation persisted. I couldn’t help but overhear other guests complaining about the excessive noise. Feeling frustrated, I decided to seek help from the front desk. I politely explained the issue to the manager, emphasizing that the music should be used as background noise rather than dominating the dining experience. However, his response was utterly dismissive. He stared blankly at me and, after I finished speaking, simply walked away.
In my opinion, his attitude was highly dismissive and unprofessional. Despite spending $1100.00 for my stay, I have made up my mind to never return to this establishment.
