I booked an 8-night stay using my corporate card. I noticed a strange smell in the room, and I began sneezing and coughing severely. By the second day, I discovered mold in my room. The mold pictured was not the only mold present. I immediately reported the issue to the front desk and informed them that I no longer felt comfortable staying in the room. The front desk staff contacted the manager, and the manager and I had a verbal agreement that I could check out without being charged for the remaining nights and that I would be refunded for the two nights I stayed. I then checked out and found a different hotel. While I did receive a refund for the first two nights, I was still charged for the remaining six. Since then, I have repeatedly tried to contact the General Manager, Janie McKinnis, to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, she has been unresponsive and dismissive. I was even told that she refused to speak with me and would not be issuing the promised refund. This has been extremely frustrating, and I am still trying to get my money returned. Based on my experience, I do not recommend staying at this hotel.

I am writing this review to warn potential guests about a serious security issue we experienced during our stay. We were checked in by the Assistant General Manager. That same night, while we were sleeping, the same Assistant GM checked strangers into our room. We woke up to people attempting to enter our door. Thankfully, we had the safety latch engaged, otherwise, strangers would have walked directly into our room while we slept. When I went to the door, the other guests were just as confused as we were. I immediately called the front desk to report this security failure, and the staff member hung up on me. When I went down to the lobby to address the situation in person, I was met with attitude rather than an apology. I demanded a full refund, which was eventually processed, but only with reluctance and hostility from the agent. Disturbingly, we were part of a larger group, and similar double-booking incidents happened to other members of our party that same night. While the housekeeping staff was friendly and professional, the front desk staff and management were incompetent, rude, and negligent regarding guest safety.
