  Another Hilton property in disrepair. Fridge froze my food, the AC unit cycle valve clacked so loud it was like a ruler on a desk slap all night, Hallway carpet filthy and a tripping hazard throughout, cookie was burned and a brick and the wifi. Ugh. The wifi. Speed test was 5mb/sec. If you want to get anything done, this wifi is not for you. Nothing significant within walking distance so need a vehicle. The water was Hot! And room was clean and people were nice. I just left disappointed was all

  Spacious rooms! Thank you for including microwave and fridge. Cookie was delicious. This was a rainy day! The restaurant was convenient. The menu had several meal options. I devoured my Shrimp and Grits, well seasoned and better than most. The group enjoyed their food as well.

  I will not be staying at the double tree again. We booked the room for one night as we were just passing through and needed a place to sleep and get ready for the next day. We woke up around 3 to it being unbearably hot and stuffy, only to find that the power was out. We waited until 7 when it was supposed to turn back on but it didn’t, so we tried to push through and get dressed in the dark, only to find that there’s also no hot water. Upon calling the corporate office I was told that the hotel would only turn on the backup generator in the event of an emergency and that it didn’t matter if people had paid money to stay here. With all of that being said, we left very upset. Upon exiting our room there was a trail of vomit in the hallway that no one was even attempting to clean up. I 10 out of 10 do not recommend.

  Editing and updating my review. That was literally the QUICKEST response I’ve had from an establishment. And I don’t mean ok Google reviews, I’m talking real time action. By the time I walked downstairs to check for another room; they had already heard my issue and the manager was working on finding me a room. I returned a few hours later to see I had a new room assigned and it was what I needed. Thank you to Doc and the gentleman I met before I left (I am so sorry I didn’t catch his name) yall really turned my experience around. I was going to hate giving up a double tree, but that response and kindness changed my minds. Thank you so much!

  -Scented sheets and towels off putting. -A lot of light seeping in from the hallway - needed to block with couch cushions. -Blinds/curtains don't close entirely - also blocked with couch cushions. -Cold in room, heat took hours to kick in. Used to be my go-to but will not stay here again.
