This hotel is located about 10 minutes from RDU. The staff is extremely friendly. Sadly that is where the positives end. The room I was given smelled like cigarettes. There were pubic hairs in the shower. The desk had very obviously been chewed up by a dog. The final nail in the coffin was that I woke up covered in bed bug bites. I will say that the front desk gave a full refund and were very apologetic.

I know people tend to leave reviews that can either be completely accurate or deceptive. This review is just going to be from a place of honesty but also appreciation. With that being said... here is my complete and honest review of me and my son's stay at this location.
During the check in process, I had the pleasure of meeting this wonderful young lady at the front desk, her name is Mia (I believe that's her name).
She was extremely nice, very attentive, and she had an heartwarming interaction with my son (who happens to be on the spectrum...that's Autism Spectrum Disorder and he is a young adult). She was very respectful and was more than willing to provide all the necessary linens that my son and I needed during our stay.
Now here comes the realistic and unfortunate descriptive part of our stay at this location. I'm going to be completely honest about the room we stayed in (for 4 days and 3 nights).
The room had a stale smell to it. The sofa bed looked like it's been in that room for years. The cushions were ripped. You can see the inside of it. The padding (I can't even call it a mattress) had stains on it, and I had to put several fitted sheets on it just to make it tolerable for my son to sleep on. I also had to cover up the cushions, so he can use that as padding while he slept on a sofa bed.
The queen size room (which was separate from the kitchen, dining and the living room) was relatively small. It did have a spacious closet, but the room was small. Due to my mobility issues, I wish they had a walk in showers because I had a lot of difficulties getting in and out of the tub that had a shower. The bathroom wasn't in the best condition, but we made it work.
Now I definitely have to say that there were issues with bugs some alive, some dead and I had to make sure I took measures not to bring any critters home in our suitcases.
Overall would I stay at this location again...probably not, but at least the young ladies at the front desk made the stay much more pleasant then what it was.
Also I have to mention, there was another young lady that was at the front desk during our checkout process, her name was christine ( I believe that was her name, if not I apologize), she was very nice and also was very engaging with my son in a very respectful way. I appreciate that, hence why I said young ladies at the front desk.
This is the realest I've ever been in a review regarding a hotel stay. Again, I understand that this location is an extended stay hotel; however, there should me more emphasis on making sure the furniture that's in the rooms are not ripped up. The lesson is... you get what you pay for.
