    The girl that checked us in could care less about the job she does, no smiling, no thank you for anything. The bed is very uncomfortable in room #206. We picked this hotel because it has a hottub. Find out it hasn't worked in years. Not a good experience for a Best Western member. The girl at the front desk with dark hair shouldn't have contact with customers

    We were extremely disappointed with our experience at Best Western. We had a hotel block reserved for our wedding on 10/11/2025, and several of our guests encountered significant problems with their reservations and rooms. One group of guests booked directly through our hotel block link, but just days before the wedding, Best Western had no record of their reservation. Because the fall season is so busy in the mountains—and these guests were traveling all the way from New Jersey—we were genuinely worried they wouldn’t be able to attend. Another group had their reservation completely lost, forcing them to return to Charlotte that same evening; I was livid with the hotel staff when I found this out. Additionally, some guests reported finding an infestation of bed bugs in their room, which was incredibly upsetting and embarrassing, especially considering this was the hotel we selected for our wedding block. Throughout this entire experience, the staff did not appear hospitable, nor did they make any effort to resolve these issues for our guests. Even attempting to speak with the manager was challenging and unproductive. This Best Western urgently needs to improve its hospitality, customer service, and communication. For anyone considering staying here, I strongly recommend exploring other options in or near town. If you must book here, call multiple times to confirm your reservation. I plan to contact Best Western’s corporate office regarding these concerns, as I have never experienced such issues with a hotel before. This was truly embarrassing and I would never want anyone else or their loved ones to have to experience something similar.

    We have been coming here for many years, a few weekends ago we had reservation's to stay the night and my fiancée was not feeling well and she called to see if we could check in early, it took them forever to answer the phone, little later we decided to drive by and talk to them, again at the front desk no one, rang the bell finally she came up and asked again and explained not feeling well, she said sorry check in is at 4, the hotel was dead and no way a room was not ready, we decided to drive back home 2.5hrs, during that time we called Best Western direct and explained she said she would reach to them next week, finally she contacted them and said they will not refund us, we even called the hotel again and asked for the manager "Josh" to call her and he never did, they are so empathetic especially for someone that recently beat cancer and is still having health issues. Best Western has lost my business, we stayed at Harrah's and we're "allowed" to check in early under the same situation.

    Booked through website using points 56000 per night for Riverview room. Did not get Riverview rooms average at best had blood smeared on bathroom wall. Staff was super friendly but not helpful. Spent 246000 points after a long summer on the road for my family and talked up these riverfront rooms had them excited only for a "we understand, so sorry" Also charge you extra to use fire pit. I dont recommend.
