  Came here for my 50th bday present. My family surprised we with a 2 night stay in a caboose!. I love trains and this place is awesome. It's quiet and peaceful, the Bison are right out the windows most of the day. The caboose was awesome, had everything we needed for the couple of days. We even grilled the one night there. The staff, (Cheryl)was great! super friendly and helpful. Got to talking about how the place came to be etc. They even offered to open the model train layout on Sunday evening. I did not want to disturb their evening so we missed out. I highly recommend a stay here! They have nice looking cabins as well, but not as cool as the caboose!!!

  This place is the best!! We stayed in the orange caboose and LOVED it!! My kids loved sleeping in the loft and the bed for the adults was very comfortable as well. That said, the wildlife and surroundings stole the show! The bison feeding is so cool, as well as being able to see all the other animals on property. The game room and store are also awesome, my kids got to feed the turtle and goldfish and loved looking at all the stuffed animals!

  We had the best time! The gray caboose was so cozy and comfortable for 4 of us. My son loved sleeping in the loft, and the bed was comfortable in the bedroom. It is the kind of place that kids can be kids, numerous animals to feed (including the buffalo) hiking to the top of the mountain to the tetherball, playing on the playground in the middle of the forest, all while a herd if buffalo wanders in the background. I highly recommend this place!

  Visiting Buffalo Creek was a wonderful experience. We took our son and his young family and stayed a week in a caboose. The grandchildren loved all the different animals and the buffalo. The accommodations were excellent and had everything we needed. The grandchildren wondered how the eggs were so many different colors. The little ones slept in the loft and had plenty of room. They looked so cute up there and there were places for the four pinks adults to sleep. I loved how it was decorated with train decor. Would highly recommend a visit to Buffalo Creek.

  5 Star place with 5 Star people! Jeff and Cheryl are lovely people and the orange caboose we stayed in was so well-maintained and thoughtfully furnished. We visited with a family of 5 including 3 kids, and we all loved it. It was just the right size for everyone to sleep comfortably and had just enough to feel at home. It was clean, easy to find, and just SO cool to stay in a train car on a bison ranch.... We spoke with Jeff who was so friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome, and spoke via text and email with Cheryl who was also so warm and kind. If we wind up back up this way we will absolutely come here again!
