  Stayed across the street from casino. I mean right across the street. Could not get any closer unless we stayed at casino

  This hotel is being updated and remodeled so beware of that. Rooms were clean and they provided several bathroom soaps and shampoos and not the little cheap bottles. Bedding was actually clean and of decent quality. The thing that made me give them a 4 star was the night shift clerk. We ordered Domino's late about 945 and deliviwas to be about 1045 and they did not show. At 1120 we checked into why are you late and they cancelled the order and never called us. What do you think my review of them is going to be or when I call them later today that conversation is going to be like. Anyway I had gone to the desk to buy a drink since our food and drinks did not show and asked the desk clerk if they've had any issues with Domino's. He said not that he was aware of explained to him what just happened and he in return bought my drink for me. He went out of his way to try to help in his way for what happened. So he got his flowers on TripAdvisor. It's not just about complaining you have to give flowers when they are due also. I never over embellish my reviews I just give facts and my opinion. Holiday in also had a small breakfast pancakes, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, muffins, yogurts, fruits, cereal and drinks. Everything was a little bland was not my cup of tea but just because I was picky about it I can not give it a negative because most places don't have this service and for the business traveler like my wife this is a huge plus. So just because my taste buds did not agree with it does not mean it was bad. Everything was fresh and new the earring area was clean so no issues. Hats off to management I'm picky that's why I rarely give 5 stars because I feel there is always room for improvement. The one big plus that I did give a 5 star was your staff. I wish I could remember the night clerk name so I could give him a shout out so to speak because he deserves!

  Upon arrival, the front desk experience was disappointing. The older lady who handled check-in was not friendly or showing any empathy at all. She had a problem accessing the system for some reason and completely ignored us for 10–15 minutes without explaining anything. She seemed irritated by our questions about the wait time, as she had not said anything initially nor assured us that she was working on fixing the problem. She then called the manager to address the issues. After some time, we received the keys without so much as a "sorry for the delay" or "have a nice day" — as if we weren't even there. She showed the same attitude toward another couple who came in to ask something. The room was clean overall, however the bathroom floor had very old, dirty grout, and the toilet had a crack. The shower inclosure was plastic but clean. The beds are on the softer side. Breakfast was underwhelming. The options were very bland — the only fruit available was small oranges. The omelette and breakfast sausages had a very artificial taste. There were no individual jam portions; instead, two large, sticky shared bottles were left out. That said, the lady working the breakfast area was very nice and friendly — a bright spot in the stay! On a positive side— there is a walkable path to the casino across the street with sidewalks on both sides. Location was good and not noisy. Overall, this hotel is not worth the price given its outdated condition(especially on weekends). Customer service needs significant improvement. I understand that technical issues happen, but a little attentiveness and sympathy toward guests goes a long way.

  T.v. didnt work. Water doesnt get hot. Loud guests all through the night. They recently remodeled some rooms and several tv wont work. Its annoying. Looks great but nothing works

  Arrived at 2:30 PM and was told check-in was at 3 PM, which was fine. At 3 PM I was told no clean rooms were available, yet other guests were checked in shortly afterward. I even offered to pay for an upgrade but was told the hotel was sold out. After waiting longer, they suddenly said they could check me in. The process felt inconsistent and frustrating. Checkout was also uncomfortable. Housekeeping tried to enter our room at 9:30 AM and again at 10 AM, even though checkout wasn’t until 11 AM. The room itself was outdated and in need of renovation. I travel often and have had much better experiences at nearby hotels like the Fairfield and Cherokee Smoky Inn. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet expectations.
