Family owned and operated since 1982, Huskey Cabin Rentals is conveniently located right on the Oconaluftee River off the 19 South and just 2 miles from downtown Cherokee.
Huskey Cabin Rentals offers comfortable two-, three-, and four-bedroom cabins, all with full sized kitchens stocked with utensils. Each has a small yard with picnic table and charcoal grill, and a porch with rockers to relax and enjoy the river views. We do not allow pets and require that you bring your own linens.

- PFpaul foxAug 27, 20165.0I meet Mr. Husky on my first visit 10 or more years ago, i visit with Husky rental ever year. The cabins are located in a good location and near the river. The cabins are clean with two large bed rooms, all the utensil you need in the kitchen, ac and heat, large living room. Husky rental are the best choice for vacation in the Cherokee area. - PMPatty MJul 31, 20162.0Stayed two nights last week, very disappointing. The main reason I had booked here was the cabin being on the river. I had two children and wanted a place where they could play in the water. Unfortunately the discharge for Cherokee Sewer plant is straight across from the cabins. Others said they fished and swam there, sorry not me or my kids. Not an overwhelming odor but an odor none the less. This was unfortunate but figured we could do other things. This was bad enough, worse was the floors had not been swept in the cabin, food crumbs and grit everywhere. The vinyl flooring was so dingy behind the bathroom door I thought it was just old and discolored until a wet cloth sat on it overnight; just filthy! When I complained to the owner she asked ME to show the cleaning woman the problems.The owner's explanation was the cleaning woman probably couldn't see the dirt as the cabins are dark inside. Won't be back.
