Rude. $10 a day to park. Clean. It’s Charlotte, protect your valuables in and out of your room. I’m a CLC Customer with abnormal check-in and out times. I arrived with a reservation in hand. I was told there wasn’t a room for me before the attendant even looked at the computer. After the attendant bothered to check they found my paperwork and key cards ready.

Carvin the airport shuttle driver for the hotel was awesome. After he drove me to the hotel, I asked him if it was a good idea to walk to the nearby Waffle house (9:40 PM on a Monday in January), and he said "No, I'll drive you." I ended up at a local Mexican place instead (on his recommendation), and it was the best I've had in years. Fantastic service, and a great person to talk to. (Oh, the hotel is nice, too. But mainly Carvin is great.)

We stayed at this hotel over the weekend as part of the final leg of our vacation. The main purpose of our stay was to get some rest and conveniently head to the airport the next morning, and in that sense, the hotel served its purpose well. The check in was very easy and shout out to Monique for the same. She was very friendly and cheerful. Was impressed by the airport themed decor of the hotel as well. Its close proximity to the airport and the availability of an airport shuttle made our early-morning travel plans stress-free and convenient. The location is definitely a plus for travelers catching flights. However, the property could benefit from some renovations, particularly in the bathroom. In our room, there were broken tiles near the bathroom entrance that made it difficult to close the door smoothly. The bathtub also showed visible signs of wear and damage. Additionally, we could clearly hear people walking on the floor above us, which affected the overall quietness we were hoping for during our rest. Overall, the hotel is functional and convenient for a short airport stay, but some updates and maintenance would go a long way in improving the guest experience.

A very clean, nice hotel. The decor is really warm and welcoming. Rooms are big and clean. The water with oranges in the lobby was delicious. Didn't have the breakfast so I can't comment on that. My only issue would be the check in. We waited behind 3 ladies as one check in it seemed for about 20 minutes. 2 ladies who worked there took forever. The chit chat, while nice, was a bit too long. I just wanted to check in and go to our room. Finally one of the ladies came to us and said she could check us in in the back. She disappeared for about 10 minutes. Our last night there the lady at the desk was not the best. We wanted water from the "store" there and couldn't find her. We could see her in the back on the phone. We waited and she finally came out. This morning when went to check out she was looking down doing something. It was only us as it was 355am in the morning. We told her we wanted to check out and laid our keys down. We stood there and she just looked at us like "what"?! She finally said " do you need anything else?" We said no. She said ok I'm doing my audit. She really could have cared less. Def need better customer service at your front desk. The hotel is really close to the airport so that's a huge plus. Oh and one more thing. It does cost to park here. I couldn't believe it! I think it was $12 a night, pay by phone so heads up.

TL;DR: stay away- hot water runs out; terrible customer service. This stay was extremely disappointing. We were assigned to this hotel through the Pop Warner Cheer Association, and this experience will also be reported to the association. While the location might be suitable for a standard business layover, this hotel was clearly unprepared to host hundreds of children and families for a full week. The surrounding area feels like a warehouse district with clusters of hotels and standard traveler restaurants. Guest access is restricted with key-only elevator entry to all four floors, which did not add to a sense of comfort or convenience. The indoor pool is a decent size but is not heated at all. There is no hot tub, only a small rinse-off shower in the corner. Towel availability was a constant issue. After 5 PM, we asked the front desk for pool towels and were treated rudely for even asking. We were told to bring our used shower towels from our room and rehang them afterward because no clean towels were available. Since our room towels had not been replaced that day, the staff member reluctantly located some for us. This was also the same staff member who informed us that when our hot water completely stopped one night, the manager refused to come in to address the issue. We were told to either move our sleeping children to another room late at night or wait until the next day. Multiple families experienced this same issue that night. Additional smaller issues added to the overall frustration. The in-room refrigerator functions more like a cooler and is not food-safe for storage—only suitable for drinks. This facility was contracted through the association and was not inexpensive—$1,408 for two adults and two children for three nights. Given the lack of preparation, basic amenities, and customer service, this pricing feels completely unjustified. This hotel is not capable of handling large group accommodations like this, and I sincerely hope it is removed from future recommended lodging lists so no other families have to endure a similar experience. For anyone considering staying here, be warned that if this property is hosting a large group, these same issues may very well occur.
