After striking out at the Hampton (fully booked), the staff there gave me the number for their sister property, Tru. When I called, Shaun told me they had three rooms available from no-shows. By the time I arrived, he’d already looked me up by my phone number and had me completely checked in.
This was late at night when most people are just going through the motions, but Shaun was genuinely warm, friendly, and went out of his way to make everything seamless. He anticipated what I needed before I even walked through the door. That level of initiative and care is rare anywhere, let alone in the middle of the night.
Shaun has permanently reset my expectations for what hotel service should be. Every interaction with hotel staff going forward will be measured against the standard he set. If you’re lucky enough to have Shaun helping you during your stay, you’ll understand why he’s not just doing a job—he’s mastering a craft.
Shaun didn’t just provide customer service—he redefined what hospitality means.
Oh… and the rooms were nice, the hotel was very clean, the rest of the staff was super friendly, and the coffee is always ready.

The location was fine and the staff polite. The breakfast a typical hotel style. My only complaint was the "blackout" shade on the window did not keep out the light and we were woke up and blinded at sun up after a long trip.

The hotel room was clean and sufficient, but unremarkable. You know what is remarkable about this place, the staff. Everyone I have dealt with has been so kind and efficient and helpful. Especially Mary and Rosa. Cannot say enough about how amazing they are with anything I’ve needed. Staff like them are hard to find these days.
