No compensation was given - even though I told the woman at checkout that having early complimentary breakfast was a big reason for my stay (I had a morning interview closeby). She was also very condescending. Additionally, FYI the hotel will give you a 20$ miscellaneous charge at checkin. I was told I would receive the money back at checkout, but at checkout they said that is only if you pay in cash. The receipt they give you does not include that miscellaneous charge so you have to check your bank account for the next five business days until they hopefully refund your account.
