First and last time I'll stay here. HOW IS BREAKFAST NOT FREE!!!??? $13 + tax for powdered eggs!!?? Crazy. READ THE OTHER BAD REVIEWS! Similar issues with elevators, noisy air condition, etc. Nothing was grievously bad, but nothing was good or better than other places nearby for the same price. Some issues were: dirty shower curtain (had toothpaste and hair from previous guest), electrical outlet in bathroom loose so the hair dryer never worked right, air conditioner was very loud (woke me up multiple times), TV was very small and had no movie channels or modern options, internet was very slow, no way to turn on lights by bed for reading, only 1 elevator worked continuously, towels were very scratchy and smelled terrible (thank goodness I brought my own), fridge was smaller than most so that you couldn't store any leftovers, the lobby trash can was always overflowing, and the water damaged walls and door in bathroom were never fixed or even painted over. It's like they just quit caring and it showed from the entire feel of the place. Sonesta for $10 less a night offers full kitchen and giant living room with 55" or bigger TV. And that's just one option! The only reason I gave "Service" 2 stars was the customer service I received from Harvey. All the other people were either rude, acted too busy or just seemed to not care.

Nothing bad about the rooms, but $14 dollars for breakfast is dumb, when most include it? I was also asked about our room number and if they told us when we checked in. So, I'll take a wild guess this is a common problem.

The room wasn't the only trouble. On the third floor the down elevator button doesn't work. Both elevators smelled like burnt grease. My stay was 4 days 3 nights, out of the 3 nights I had to have my card reset twice so I could get into my room at night. The bathroom door didn't latch. The wall thermostat would not control the minisplit. I had to control that from the panel. On the plus side, it wasn't under construction.

Room is a little oddly shaped & a bit dingy inside. There was a loud party downstairs and you could hear it three floors up, on the other side of the building. The desk worker was MIA for about 15mins upon arrival because of a personal need. Most staff we encountered seemed unbothered by guests but at minimum greeted us.
