This hotel is conveniently located next to Wake Med hospital where our baby spent 4 days in the nicu. We boarded 2 out of those 4 nights in the hospital and 2 nights at this hotel. The receptionist who checked us in was VERY kind hearted and helped us get a room asap. She was so understanding and caring about our situation. All the staff we encountered there were caring and treated us very well during our stay. They asked us for updates on our baby daily. We appreciated everyone of them. The staff there ALL deserve an updated hotel and recognition for their professionalism and hospitality. They are truly doing the best they can with what they have and treat people with care. The lady who made the complimentary breakfast also deserves to be recognized! She made delicious food and kept the area in immaculate condition. She also asked us about our baby and made us feel cared for. We are truly grateful to have been treated so well during our stay. Shoutout to everyone there and may God bless them ❤️

This hotel's only redeeming quality is that the staff is polite and tries to be helpful. It's old and in need of leveling. You can tell in the rooms that water damage has been painted over. Lots of things have been painted over actually. The heating and cooling was awful. Had the temp set to 66 and woke up sweating (normally I'm a 70 degree person). Breakfast included stale bagels, overcooked sausage, and Fruit Loops that the kid at the next table asked his dad if he really had to eat "cause they taste icky." The work out room equipment squeaked and shook, but at least worked. Overall, not an experience I will repeat. Very disappointing.

Great stay at this hotel! While the property is a bit dated, it’s very well maintained and kept clean throughout. Walls are not good sound insulation and can somewhat hear neighbors talking or snoring. The staff were excellent—friendly, professional, and always willing to help, which made the stay smooth and enjoyable. The continental breakfast was fresh and satisfying with plenty of options to start the day. The gym was clean, organized, and well maintained, making it easy to get a good workout in. The pool was out of season and empty during my visit, but the area looked nice and well cared for. Overall, a clean, comfortable, and efficiently run hotel with great service—I’d definitely stay here again.

I'm normally one to not post reviews. I just find I don't have the time or the energy. This hotel made me change my mind.
The rooms were, in a word, dingy at best. There was damage on the walls (scuff marks and chipping), the carpets in both the halls and the room were dirty and in need of renovations, the air conditioning unit in the room had mold growing within it, and the hotel itself had a sort of musky smell on many floors that indicated possible mold growth.
Going further, the complementary water provided at the lobby near the dining room tasted of cigarettes and the provided pool on site looked neglected (it was a deep green in color indicating algal growth). I understand not using the pool during the fall season (the time in which I was staying at the facility) but letting it get to that level is rather embarrassing for a Hilton property.
For a hotel that is directly next to a major hospital and likely caters to visiting family, this facility was shameful for the Hilton brand. I'd expect digny rooms at a local dive motel, not a major corporate entity. 1/5 stars, only for the fact they had waffles for breakfast.
To add further insult to injury, I was unable to fill out a survey form on their survey site informing them of the state of the facility. Overall just a disappointing experience and an embarrassing mark on the Hilton brand
