Booked a premium room that comes with snacks. They only give diet sodas which is bs you should have to request diet drinks nobody wants that nasty crap. The second day we got less drinks and snacks than the first day. Both days had to wait for them to be brought to room with the second day taking hours. The chips were out of date by almost two weeks. The app is useless you still have to check in with the front desk. I had scheduled a late check out on the app before checking in. It was never applied to room. Check out isn’t until 11 house keeping was knocking on our door at 9am asking when we were leaving.

The staff in the dining area and tech staff are attentive, friendly and warm. Amina in the dining area greeted us with smiles every morning, and she was friendly and helpful. However, the front desk staff were impatient at times. The hotel gave us instructions to call and schedule a shuttle upon arrival to the airport. The volume of calls may be overwhelming to the staff when a big group of guests came to town for a conference, so they were impatient with our calls. It was my first time visiting North Carolina, and I was unaware that there are 3 Embassy Suites by Hilton hotels by the airport. I didn’t receive specific instructions about the color of the shuttle when I called. I ended up getting on a shuttle bus heading to Embassy Suites by Hilton Cary.

Had breakfast this morning and both of the ladies were wonderfully pleasant and helpful. Ruen. on the omelette station and Little Deer helping me get gluten free bread. I also didn’t catch his name but the gentleman with the mustache at the lobby desk was informative too and the busboy was patiently waiting and promptly cleaned tables after patrons left. Shoutout to all the lovely staff I met during my stay.

Not sure about the quality of staying here, but DO NOT PARK HERE IF YOU HAVE A LATE FLIGHT RETURNING! This was 2nd time I parked here(usually park at Imperial), however my first time parking here I had no issues and got a shuttle at almost 1am because my flight was delayed! This time, since Imperial was all booked up and I had no issues the first time we'll after midnight I thought I'd park here again! Well, I called at 12:12am to receive nothing but a rude employee! I was told by the employee when I parked that I wouldn't have any issues when I specifically mentioned the time my flight was returning and the time I had put my reservation to in case of delays like the last time! She NEVER once mentioned the shuttle ends at midnight! The employee when I called just kept rudely telling me I should read! Maybe it does say it on reservation technically, however I had to click an extra link and scroll down to see it mentions the shuttle ends at midnight! You could also, LOOK AT YOUR RESERVATIONS AND SEE WHEN LAST FLIGHTS COME IN AND MAKE SURE ALL YOUR "PAYING" CUSTOMERS AREN'T FRICKIN STRANDED AFTER BEING LIED TO INITIALLY BY ANOTHER EMPLOYEE!And like I said, I got a ride back the first time a little over a month ago at 1am! So does it really end at midnight, or were the people working tonight rude and lazy?! When you can't mention that your shuttle ends when I mention specific times and then you greet me with rudeness, you're not getting my business again! Let's see if accountability is taken in their response, especially for the way an employee was talking to a customer and how another employee essentially lied to the customer!Usually not! Yes, I could have clicked a link and scrolled down to read somewhat fine print, so that's on me, but with prior experience parking here well past supposedly midnight end time and then an employee telling me I wont have issues doesn't give me any reason to think otherwise! No longer giving this place my business!

I'll start with the good. The shuttle was timely and quick. The front desk manager, Bo, was attentive and responsive. The hostess, Jensen, was excellent. She really made us feel like she wanted us to be there but didn't hover over us. The breakfast team was amazing especially Miss Littledeer. The location is beautiful and peaceful. My teammate said that the pull out bed was very comfortable to him. As for the hotel, it was pretty dated and broken down. The common space bathrooms on the 1st floor had several stalls broken in both of the women's bathrooms for the entire time that we were there. The unisex bathroom had a broken lock. I stayed on the premium floor and asked for the snacks that are a part of the price. I didn't get them on the 1st night and had to ask several times on the other days to get them. I talked to a colleague and was told that she didn't receive them at all and wasn't even made aware that they were a part of the package. I called the 1st night because our room was dusty and we were coughing. There was no real resolution. We asked for several days to have our room serviced. It was not. One of my colleagues said that there was ginger hair on her walls the entire time that she was there. When they made her bed, it looked worse than it did when she left. The pictures are added. Another colleague had a similarly dusty vent in her room. We asked a server if they got the tips from the QR code on the table & was told that they didn't because their phone didn't have the capability. The bartender was rude to many of our colleagues, so much so that I refused to use our drink tickets for the remaining nights. We were advised to talk to Jill, the restaurant manager. She talked to my son & advised him that the bartender had been working there for 20 years and offered 6 drink tickets. When I talked to Jill the next day, she mentioned that the drink tickets were just a way to engage with customers and that "people may not understand the cocktails" and that she advised the bartender to slow down. It made me believe that she thought we didn't understand the concept of free cocktails and that we weren't used to these types of things. It felt a bit condescending. Then she said if we didn't use the cards, we could keep them for another time. Another colleague overheard her tell the bartender that she would only have to deal with us another day. I gave a couple away and then returned the rest because I honestly don't plan to stay at an Embassy ever again. I told the conference planners all of my concerns and will definitely be encouraging my coworkers and teammates to do the same.
