No manager on duty when the kite festivslal has a busy crowd. One bartender for the enitire hotel and goee in circle after after a line is formed with people waiting over 30 minutes

Super-clean and well-maintained property. Great location, being directly on the beach and boardwalk. Waking up to the morning sunrise was priceless. Everything I needed was within walking distance; restaurants, coffee, dessert, shops. Loved it.

Just stayed for a night, clean room, bed wasn't as soft as I prefer, but were clean and warm. Staff was amazing! Great location. Hope to come back during season to enjoy all the amenities, like the beautiful pool or tiki bar

Never made it to the reservation. Expedia screwed up on my arrival date due to a computer glitch. Neither Expedia or Hampton Inn was willing to make a simple adjustment on the arrival date by one day. I will have no more to do with either and bash them every chance I get. I had to each the cost of the room I didnt stay in.

Our family came stayed here for an overnight last week for the first time. I'll start off with the positives:
Great customer service, was greeted warmly and check-in was seemless. We got there right at check-in at 4 p.m. mid-week and we were easily able to find parking. They advised us when checking in that parking will be $10 per night. We were okay with that and we didn't need to drive since shopping, dining and beach were all within walking distance. We were booked in rooms 300 & 412. Both rooms had amazing views of the Atlantic ocean 🌊 Easy access to the beach from the hotel. They have a pool, outdoor tiki bar lounge with an outdoor firepit. Continental breakfast was exactly what you would expect from any hotel with the same accommodations. The staff did seem to keep up with keeping it cleaned and well stocked.
Now for the negatives:
Both of our rooms had the coffee maker on the bathroom counters. No thank you! The beds were extremely uncomfortable, it was like sleeping on an old mattress that was lumpy. The pillows were flat with very little cushion. Although the rooms were very clean, we spotted a cockroach scurrying across the floor right before checking out. We quickly went through all of our belongings to make sure we weren't taking home any hitchhikers.
I did notify the front desk about the cockroach and even showed a photo. They seemed to feel bad about it and didn't charge me for parking as a remedy. A few days later I received an email from the hotel asking about my stay. I told them everything that I wrote in this review and I received a response the next day. The uncomfortable bed and coffee maker in the bathroom was not addressed but the email did apologize for the pest encounter and said they instructed the staff to send an exterminator to the room. I appreciated the immediate reply and I do understand that these things can happen. Unfortunately, the negatives was too much for me to return again.
