  It rained during our stay and we had rain leaking into our room from the top of the ac unit and the shower wand handle come off the wall when attempting to use. Other than that it was agood stay.

  Rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast food was hot. Very clean food area. Host for check in was very nice.

  Hesitate to give good review because don’t want this hotel be crowded haha, I don’t understand why 4 stars, solid 5, clean, big, a lot of protein variety for breakfast, LoCation!!!!!! Everything is walkable. Firm mattresses… will stay here from now on

  This is a rather old Holiday Inn, I would not expect it to be considered an express, at least not yet. The price was pretty high for its condition, no different than the newer one in town. I did see signs for renovations coming though, so I'm sure it will be up to par eventually, but as of March 2026, they are very dated rooms. The bed and linen was not nearly as comfortable as I have come to expect with IHGs. Our room had a faint smell of old cigarette smoke that it seems they've done everything to get rid of, but still remains just enough to detect it. They do have a balcony King which we got and that was kind of nice. You don't get those with the new IHGs anymore, and I always love being able to have fresh air, but there wasn't much of a view. Only houses and parking lot behind us. The door was kind of wonky and there was no furniture on the balcony to sit. I'm sure the view in the fall is amazing, as you can see the mountains in the distance, but early spring was underwhelming for sure. The staff was adequate, and efficient. I have nothing negative to say about them, but I also have nothing over the top positive to add either, like I usually do. I've gotten kind of spoiled with the IHG customer service, as it has been pretty consistent everywhere I go. Again nothing anyone did wrong. Everyone I delt with was fine. It just didn't have that same sunshiny feel and that's okay. I'm not knocking any points off for this at all. I've just gotten a little spoiled is all. Overall I give this it C+ for now but once renovations are done, I'm sure it'll be in much different place.
