    The room was clean but the giving a 3/5 because the beds were very uncomfortable. As an FYI, there's no complimentary breakfast. But the service desk/check-in staff were very friendly and personable.

    The hotel is clean, comfortable and convenient. What really makes it shine is the staff. Friendly, helpful and helped me out bigtime when I left something behind. Thank You to the HI Boone team! We'll look forward to visiting again soon!

    I booked this hotel through Capital One Travel a month ahead of time. I showed up to the hotel at 9pm and was told that they overbooked the hotel and that did not have a room. I was told that there was nothing that they could do for me. I was able to find another hotel in Boone but had to pay a premium for the stay. I went from using points to stay to having to pay $500 for a two-night stay at another hotel on my own dime. I reached out to Holiday Inn customer service, and they had the owner of the hotel reach out to me. I asked him to compensate me for the difference it the rate of the room that I had to stay and the room that I originally booked. He told me that he wasn't going to do that and that I was just out of luck. So don't book here you might have to sleep in your car after driving 5 hours to get there. Terrible customer service. How do you over book a hotel? Do you not know how many rooms you have. Unreal.
