Nice hotel but the room had no tub to relax and no microwave to heat up a cup of tea. Very clean and nice staff but a bit much for zero extras. Walk a ways to park for free or valet for $15. Walk a mile to get to a room. Inconvenient for what you pay.

Severely underwhelming first stay. Heard lots of rave reviews from others, and I fully believe they had great experiences, but I think we drew the short straw.
Parking is off-site without sidewalks, so you’ve got to walk through muddy sand if you’re lucky enough to visit on a rainy day.
After discovering a faulty elevator, we got to our floor. Our room had electric curtains that didn’t work, a mismatched seat cushion on the couch, a poor paint job from prior ceiling work, a ceiling stain that had yet to be addressed, and a door mounted crooked with an inch gap at the bottom.
The ice rink was cute, but I can only tolerate being forced to hear Firework by Katy Perry or Let It Go from inside my room but so many times before it begins to feel like a breach of the Geneva Convention.
Was super excited to try the restaurant, but it turned out to be a celebration of Sysco/US Foods, which is disheartening given so many options to support local farmers.

I enjoyed my recent 2 night stay here very much! Lovely, well-appointed room with a large bathroom (and huge shower!)
Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful, and the restaurant food was good, as was the service.
The hotel is attractive inside and out, with a scenic location on Taylor’s Creek. The drive to downtown Beaufort takes about 5 minutes.
I will definitely visit again!

We have stayed here a few times and enjoy it very much. It has lovely views and a clean room and bathroom. The restaurant and front desk staff were great, especially the restaurant staff being very friendly and accommodating. The food is great too.
In lieu of using valet, there is a free parking lot offered. It's about a 5 minute walk, so if you have good weather it works.
I would recommend getting K- cup machines or a much better coffee in the hotel rooms. We did end up using the coffee that's set up in the lobby @ 6 AM because of lackluster coffee in the room.
One other recommendation since we really enjoyed the restaurant and staff is considering a more relaxing music playlist. The music was truly awful, loud and put a damper on enjoying our meal. Not even sure what genre the music was!
Another recommendation is possibly adding a salt wipe-down of the outdoor glass on the room porches to the cleaning process when you know a guest is going to arrive in that room. It would take two minutes.
We love the lobby, the fireplace and the restaurant. The lobby is decorated beautifully @ Christmas time. Beaufort Hotel is an excellent choice for the area.

Excellent experience! While we were out on Saturday during the day, our room did not get serviced. Shortly after we returned, they knocked on our door and apologized multiple times for not getting to our room. We never called about the service so we appreciated that they recognized the issue without a call. They took care of our needs promptly and were very friendly. This hotel is beautiful and well-kept. They also have a beautiful restaurant on site with gorgeous views.
