- GFGreg FaganDec 30, 20251.0During our initial night, we noticed crumbs on the carpet next to the bed and hair (not ours) on the floor in the bathroom. We asked the front desk and they stated they will have the room deep cleaned. We came back and noticed the bed was made and the hair in the bathroom was gone. However the crumbs were still on the carpet in the same spot, a wrapper was placed on the end table and hair was on the sheets just below the pillow! Further look, found cobwebs in most corners. We, of course, went to the front desk and informed them. We were then asked what do you want us to do? So we moved rooms. The next room had a hair in the bed sheets and the night stand had drops of something on it (similar to icing, I hope). After several stays as a member in other hotels, this was the worst and I am beyond disgusted…and disappointed.

The rooms are paper thin--we could hear the traffic outside and folks using the ice machine inside, but not a major issue for us. The breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety of options. Would stay again

From the moment we walked in, on Sunday 21/25 the reception staff made me feel right at home, friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The room was spotless and smelled fresh. The bed was incredibly comfortable with soft, cozy pillows that made it hard to get up in the morning! The overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm, clean, and inviting. Breakfast was a real treat: hot eggs, sausage, biscuits with gravy, and potatoes, plus a great variety of yogurt, honey, and fresh fruits. The coffee was delicious and the perfect start to the day. This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I’d recommend it all day long to anyone visiting Asheville, whether for business or leisure. We will definitely be staying there again.
