Our room was very comfortable and clean. The decor was especially nice. I really liked having a coffee maker and fridge in the room. The bed was made and the linens refreshed each day. Breakfast was superb. A very nice choice provided for us.

I choose the hotel to charge my EV before taking the ride on the scenic Blue ridge parkway. On phone the person didn't seem to know much about the charger or if it was free. Upon arrival at the hotel I saw it was in view of the desk. There are two plugs. I plugged my Acura ZDX in and was getting only 3 mph, which was inadequate for my trip forcing me to go to an EA charger 10 minutes away. It seems neither the manager nor the staff have much understanding of EV chargers. Explained this inconvenience to the manager who gave me a credit to compensate me for having to go to a commercial charger. He deserves a lot of credit for that. The hotel was a nice property and clean. Unfortunately the first room I was given had inoperative HVAC. The next room was fine. I would have expected the breakfast to be included in the price. The TV and the fitness center and the screen on the treadmill did not work. If included breakfast and the fitness center TV worked and it had functional EV chargers, it would have been five stars

We booked a King Mountain view. Very clean, nice shower only issue was our heat/ac unit. It would heat up then the air woukd kick on. We requested maintenance twice. Issue was not addressed with no maintenance. The communication between manager and employees on this issue was below standards unfortunately. They did give us 1 night free. Other then that I have no complaints. Over all clean. Loved the rustic vibe. Breakfast was $14.99 and had decent amount of options. We would def stay again.

We stayed here for a quick weekend to view the gorgeous fall splendor of Asheville. This is a great location if you don't want to stay in Ashevilles dirty downtown area that is loaded with homeless people every where and no sense of safety what so ever. It is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and there's plenty of places close by to stop for gas or snacks. Note that there is no free breakfast here as other Holiday Inns, but there is a nice restaurant to eat in or order room service. Since we were only there for a quick visit, I didn't really get to check out the pool or fitness room. I loved the mountain vibes that the decor of the entire place gave. My only complain is that the hallway to our room smelled pretty badly. But once we got in the room, thankfully you couldn't smell it. If I would have, we would have checked out. That's how bad it was. We didn't get the mountain view and I'm glad we didn't. The upcharge for it wouldn't have been worth it.
