This is a great place to stay and relax. The lobby is vast in size and very inviting. Jenna, who was the lovely woman who checked me, gave exceptional service. She was abundantly proficient in her skillset. She offered a great amount of knowledge about this location and it's transformation from it's previous owners of the Ramada Inn. I really enjoyed her warm and friendly demeanor as well as the conversation. This place is very well kept and although updated it still offers a rustic feel. My room was immaculate and smelled of a fresh and clean place to relax. The bed is amazingly comfortable as well. They are what is known as a full service hotel which I found to be a great selling point even though I was already sold. I highly recommend this Holiday Inn to my family of travelers.
Addendum: I just went downstairs to get something to eat/ snack on from their sundry, the options could offer more variety as far as microwavable meals go but my edit isn't really about the food options. Jenna once again knocked it out of the park with her knowledge about this massive hotel. She remembered I didn't have a microwave in my room an directed me to the once over by their dining area. That is impressive and top shelf that she gives a damn to that degree. This gorgeous person better be getting top pay or you all are criminal. Lol. Jenna is phenomenal!

Overall, not a bad place to stay in Asheville. Big pro is that they have a bar and restaurant. Very close to everything Asheville has offer. I found the staff very pleasant. Rooms are very dated but functional and clean.

Our softball team stayed here for a tournament and had a great experience. It was clean and great customer service. Loved the restaurant and the kids loved the indoor pool. The hot water went out a few times and one elevator was broken, otherwise, we had a great stay! Thanks for having us!

Terrible experience here. The staff was pretty rude and there was issues because I bought the room on Priceline. The issues were on their end not on pricelines. I had already gotten charged for the room and they wanted to charge me again. The hot water was not working at night or in the morning so both times I tried to shower the water was cold.

Holiday Inn Biltmore, Asheville, NC – Disappointing Stay
My family and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Biltmore in Asheville, NC, during a recent softball tournament, and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. The issues we encountered significantly impacted our stay, and the staff’s handling of situations left much to be desired.
One of the most frustrating problems was the lack of hot water in our room. After two attempts to take a shower, there was still no hot water, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. Additionally, the elevator was out of order during our stay, despite the hotel being near full capacity. Navigating stairs with luggage and tired kids after a long day at the tournament was inconvenient and exhausting.
The most disappointing moment came when my wife and I were asked to leave the lobby by management while quietly sitting by the fireplace. We were simply finishing a glass of wine we had purchased from the hotel’s own bar, but were told it was “quiet time” and had to leave because the bar had closed. This felt unreasonable and unwelcoming, especially since we were respectful guests causing no disturbance.
As a family that frequently travels and stays in hotels, we’ve rarely encountered such a combination of poor conditions and inflexible staff. The lack of basic amenities like hot water and a working elevator, coupled with the management’s rigid approach, made this a highly disappointing experience. We expected better from a Holiday Inn, and unfortunately, we cannot recommend this location based on our stay.
