Took my daughter up here very recently and we had a great time but she caught the flu as it was -6 degrees the first night we arrived from s. Florida. Otherwise it was gorgeous nothing less and people are so kind and helpful compared to the entitled out here in the palm beaches. Kristen at the front desk was our hero as we arrived super early and she was super accommodating on getting us in into our room earlier than we were supposed to be!

Just left a 2 night New Year’s stay at Glo Asheville and we had a great experience! Great price and close to everything! Kristin at the front desk was probably the sweetest lady I ever met, she checked us in, talked about the things we were there to do and remembered when she saw us the next day and was just overall such a pleasant person. The room was just the right size for my husband and myself and had everything we needed (mini fridge, Keurig, toiletries, etc). The only complaints I have are the bed is a bit harder than I like but that is preference based, the walls are really thin so you can hear everything (fortunately we are very hard sleepers so once we went down we were good) and that the toilet paper is really hard and scratchy. None of those would deter us from coming back to this hotel in the future.

The room was clean and spacious. However, we were placed in a room next to the elevator. Combined with the hardwood floors, it was extremely noisy at night and early in the morning.
There wasn’t a restaurant on site. The breakfast consisted of mostly processed foods, including an automatic pancake dispenser. We ate all meals off site.

This was a great choice! Where else can you go swimming in December, GLō you can! Went up to check out a show at the brewery and this place was right were we needed it! They had breakfast in the morning, and the staff both at night and in the morning were friendly. I wish I could have used the fire pit that night, but opted to swim for the last time this year! It was awesome! No bugs seen! There was a nice convenience store next door. I will most definitely book there again!

Booked our stay and my kids were so excited for the pool! Drove 7 hours, We got there and the pool was not heated, it was barely 50 degrees. My kids were so bummed they bucked up and swam anyways but this was a major disappointment as it was the sole reason for booking THIS hotel. No one at the front desk half the time. front desk staff named Kristen was INDCREDIBLY rude and shouldn’t work in customer service!!! We got a noise complaint at 9am on Christmas Eve (isn’t that a normal time to be up getting dressed?) because my kids were talking at a normal volume and walking around the room being kids. Not running, not yelling, not jumping. Just playing with some dolls and hot wheel cars watching tv while I dried my hair.
First, Kristen called the room and kept hanging up before I could answer, then finally said that there was a noise complaint and said it sounded like there was running. I said I understood but they weren’t running and explained to my kids that someone complained even though they weren’t being loud. At this point my son was profusely apologizing and embarrassed and wanted to leave, he thought he got us in trouble. He’s 4. Then SHE CAME TO THE ROOM less than a minute later (to reiterate how important it is to be dead silent in a hotel at 9am) WHILE I was getting dressed, soothing my son and trying to gather things to check out because of this whole situation. This REALLY upset my son and he was so worried that he was going to get in trouble. We were booked for three nights but I didn’t want to stay another second after dealing with Kristen’s rude attitude. I would’ve understood had we actually been loud or if it was extremely early in the morning or later in the evening. Kristen’s final words after I checked out “you can leave now.” 🫤 Yikes!!!
Room was sub par, bed was hard, room was suuuuuper noisy until very late! Not anyone’s fault, just very loud hallways and you can hear everyone coming in and out of their rooms and talking. Very thin walls. Breakfast was fine, coffee machine was broken. Best part about the stay was leaving.
