  We came for a family weekend getaway with our daughter and our nine month old son. Everything was beautiful. The only issue we had was we went to go pull out the bed and it wasn’t working. We called front desk and ishan answered and told us he would be up as soon as he got up to the room to help us he realized that he could not get the bed out as well so he switched our rooms and gave us three vouchers for breakfast when we went to our second room it did have a couple issues. I went to the front desk and he changed our room again and apologized profusely. He then called and asked me how our room was and I told him it was wonderful. he let me know. He gave us an extra 10% off and apologized again. He made it right and he was very kind and helpful. This is a kind of customer service that people expect and need. Thank you so much Ishan We will definitely be back.

  I keep coming back to this hotel, the staff is just amazing. It’s my hotels of choice for work and also if I need a weekend away. I always look forward to seeing Wasana at the front desk, her bright smile is infectious. She always remembers my name. It makes a long work day feel better. You need to try the restaurant, it’s Saint John’s hidden gem and if you’re lucky enough to get Cindy gas your server- you’re in for a treat. She’s simply lovely and makes the best recommendation's I look forward to seeing her on every visit.

From the moment we arrived, everything was set up perfectly just as I had asked — it truly made a difference and set the tone for a wonderful stay.   The front desk staff were very pleasant, helpful and efficient especially Wasana who looked after our needs for a week, as we had to extend our stay a couple of times due to a hospital matter. The young lady in the dining hall (name unknown)was also very pleasant. Our only complaint was the bountiful breakfast was never hot or even very warm, no matter what time we arrived. The room met our needs especially with the fridge and microwave.Cleaning staff were accommodating as we only needed supplies and not complete cleaning service. The location was very convenient to reach the regional hospital. Thank you.

  *Overall Experience During our stay, we felt the property fell significantly short of its 4-star rating—it felt more like a 3-star motel in quality and maintenance. *Staff & Service The staff was friendly and attentive but severely limited in what they could resolve since we had prepaid. They offered 2 complimentary breakfasts and 2 drinks as compensation, which was inadequate given the price and extent of the problems. *Room Quality & Accessibility We stayed in a disability accessible room with problematic layout and insufficient accessible parking. The room had dust on surfaces, a warped bathroom door, an improperly installed bedroom lock, makeshift furniture repairs, and poor sound insulation. At 6 a.m., children at the pool were audible as if they were in our room. *Bathroom & Shower The shower had dried soap and lime buildup on walls. Water temperature was inconsistent, fluctuating between cold and lukewarm, and never warmed up even after 30 minutes. *Restaurant & Arcade The restaurant was understaffed (owners refuse to hire more staff) and the food was underwhelming—steak was undercooked and the Philly cheesesteak was bland. The complimentary arcade had only 6 old, poorly maintained games with aiming issues and visible electrical tape. Laser tag is advertised but we didn't inquire about it. *Pool & Hot Tub Yellow and pink mold, dirt, sand, and lime deposits were visible. The overwhelming chlorine smell indicated chemical imbalance. The hot tub had visible dirt and grime in corners. Towels were thin and undersized—I needed 2-3 to dry properly. **Final Thoughts** The location has bay views on two sides but overlooks roads and parking on others. While staff tried to help, the property's condition, maintenance, and amenities fell far short of its 4-star designation and price. The hotel appears to prioritize cost-cutting over guest experience.
