Awesome getaway to spend time with wife or family. Nice facilities and the disc gold course is pretty good. Will definitely return and recommend to others. The food is great and the breakfast buffet is definitely worth eating. We stayed in a cabin and it was very nice.
Chico, what happened to you? 20 plus years ago, Chico was all the rage. Nowadays, its fallen way behind other hot springs resorts with no updating, the pool area is lame. High walls blot out the magnificent view, the pool itself is worse than an average hotel pool, its not hot water, everyone is jammed into one small pool and its impossible to relax. Kids need to be separated from adults, period end of story. You folks need to visit Quinns Hot Springs to see how the layout needs to be done. Stop responding to all the horrible reviews with a weak excuse and contact information. Make the big changes necessary to revive the pool layout and quit being cheap about it.
Quinns invested right and it paid off huge. No reason why Chico can't drop the dime to turn it into a class establishment instead of being last in line đ
Stop messing around, update heavily and completely change the entire pool format and put kids waaaaay away from the adults who paid to get relaxing hot water conditions, not dirty, gross, noisy, packed, unsanitary conditions.

A wonderful place to visit in the Mountains of Montana and one of my favorite restaurants within 5 states. Great staff, great pub, and awesome hot spring pool. Love this place.

The food at the buffet is great. Best prime rib I've had ever.
However they are very bad about not answering the phone.
If they do answer the phone, they usually don't know what's on the menu, buffet any details whatsoever. Very bad for business, ashame too it's a nice place.

Loved :
The hot springs
The historic dining room - bison short rib, mussels, trout, wedge salad and pistachio crème brÝlÊe
The price for the room was fair
The history of this place
Friendly staff
The amenities in the room - lotion, soap.. etc
Didnât love:
$50 to bring my dog and nothing provided just seems like a scam. Iâve traveled with her in over 30 states and other places weâve stayed who charge the same price or even less always provide something. Weâve been to places that give a toy, a snack and poop bags or sometimes poop bags and a blanket. I understand they say to âclean the roomâ but the pricing doesnât match, especially if nothing is provided. Huge turn off, considering thereâs other places like Sage that only charge $35.
Didnât like the caesar salad or the french onion soup.
Didnât like how breakfast is either a $30 buffet or an overpriced cup of oatmeal at the coffee shop.
The heater in the room is noisy, making it hard to fall asleep because it sounds like water dripping.
The lower lodge is nicely lit but the upper lodge is NOT- unless youâve already checked in and turned on the light.
No robes provided in the room - this wouldâve been great to have when getting out of the hot spring.
The room we stayed in had poor lighting.
Basic amenities like a dental kit arenât provided.
