I had booked at a different hotel and I ended up leaving that place in tears because I felt so unsafe there. I was traveling by myself with my two young kids and had no where else to go, but knew I couldn't stay at that other scary place. Thankfully, I called Holiday Inn Express & Suites and spoke to Alaric. He was so kind on the phone and when I didn't think that I would be able to get a room, he went above and beyond and spoke to the manager Marti and made it work for me. When I arrived, Alaric greated me and I immediately breathed easy. The hotel was clean and secure. I felt like I could relax. They have snacks, frozen meals, ice cream, lip balm, and other travel items for sale at reasonable prices which was so helpful since we hadn't eaten. The room we got was on the 3rd, newly renovated floor and was very spacious. I usually try to get ground floor rooms because of the kids, but the rooms were well insulated, so I didn't hear anything from the rooms around us. The bed was so comfortable; I got the best night of sleep during our whole 2 week trip that night. In the morning we got to meet the manager Marti and she was so kind as well. She gave my kids coloring books but and we had a wonderful breakfast (which was included). We even were able to sign up for hotel rewards which allowed us to get a late check out. This was perfect for us because we were going a few minutes away to the Museam of the Rockies. The late check out allowed us to go to the museam without having to worry about all of our bags sitting in the car. Overall, the bad situation I dealt with lead to one of the best. Alaric and Marti really saved me and the kids that night and I will forever be grateful to them!
