There were electric plugs in the room that didn’t work to charge phones, the tub was stained, the doors appeared to be banged up. Our towels appeared to be clean & the shower curtain was nasty as well. The mattress for the bed was very uncomfortable. It felt like we were sleeping on bricks for two nights. We have never had any issues staying at a holiday inn when we go places, but this hotel was by far the worst one we’ve stayed in. Oh we stayed on the 3rd floor & the elevator just abruptly stops & you have to jump up & down & pull the left corner of the elevator to get the door to open. Horrible!!!!
- LELinda EstelMar 30, 20263.0This is a nice hotel, clean rooms, decent breakfast. My 2 star review for service has to do with the desk clerk on March 25th. We checked in at around 5 PM and left to find some food for dinner. When we returned to the hotel, a "happy hour" event with snacks and beverages was just winding up. The wings were gone and there was just a few drinks left. The next morning I told the desk clerk, (same person as the check in) that we were disappointed that it wasn't mentioned to us when we checked in. Her explanation was, "He does this sometimes and I don't know when." So, just so you know, some guy comes into the lobby every so often, maybe once or four times a week - no one knows when he might show up. He will have, chicken wings, soft drinks, bud light (in an ice tub) and other tasty goodies. Maybe if we had known and asked about it, it may have sparked a memory in the clerk. The clerk needs to learn how to say, "I'm sorry. I must have been distracted and failed to mention it to you. I'm really sorry about that."
