I’m torn on this one because you have a higher standard of expectations for Holiday Inn; but considering the location, you kind of HAVE to have room for at least some disappointment because at the end of the day, it’s Winona, Mississippi.. that being said, the service at this hotel is PHENOMENAL. From check in to check out, 10/10 for the service. The room could’ve been better but definitely could’ve been worse. The shower pressure was terrible but the water got HOT and stayed hot, the bathroom floor had some cracks and wiggly tiles, the beds were a little too hard but the pillows were amazing, and the room was clean and well stocked. Also, we had zero problems with housekeeping, and the breakfast was delicious. The elevator made me nervous, but hey, there’s stairs on each side of the building. The pool also looked REALLY clean and inviting, but it’s unfortunately too cold presently. A little bit of TLC and updates will really go a long way, but we still had a fairly positive experience here.

When you stay at a Holiday Inn, you expect a certain level of quality which this motel did not have. On the plus side, the staff were nice and sheets and towels appeared clean. On the minus side, there were signs of wear and tear in our room and throughout the motel. The bathroom door looked beat up. The shower curtain was ragged, and the USB port would not work to charge phones. Most better motels have gone to pillow top mattresses. This mattress was very hard. The toilet paper was cheap, rough, one ply. Either take the Holiday Inn name off and charge less or remodel the place
