Check in staff rude and requires you to download an app to check in. 1 -1/2 hrs to check in and refused to give my wife a key, then they lied about it. We had prepaid reservations and still had to contact corporate to get the room. Then they tried to blame my wife for the problem. They use Untrained minimum wage employees.

Relatively new facility had everything we expect from Home 2: lots of space, a small kitchen area, a comfortable bed. The shower was roomy but had the stingiest water flow we have ever experienced. It was so flow-restricted that it couldn't make a full spray. It seems like a little thing, but we appreciate a good shower on the road.

Rooms were clean and spacious. The sheets were soft but the pillows were easily flattened. Breakfast was yummy, loved the waffles.

So first of all Lets go over why service gets 3 stars. The night I arrived at about 11pm. I went to check in and keep in mind my family and I have two dogs. So the lady at the desk Emily asked is it s service dog. I said yes my wife uses them for her anxiety to stay calm. So she then rudely says we don't accept emotional support animals. Basically it almost seemed as though I couldn't check in with them at all. I said but your website says you are pet friendly. I also said your sight doesn't mention they have to be service dogs(she made sound that way) Emily then says I will show you the website. While she was looking it up her help to the left of me was nice enough to say sir it just helps you to avoid the $75 pet fee. I then said nicely that's fine you should have said that, it won't be a problem. After that Emily decides to still have an attitude but instead of showing me the website she proceeds to read the code according the state of MS's description of a service dog. Keep in mind I had a fire service shirt on, I said why did you read the code? that's not what I wanted. I said plus I didn't need to know all of that. She said well I figured since you worked in EMS that you would know that. I said no ma'am I dealt with fire, medical, and life safety, not animals. I then showed her how the website makes it difficult to see that there is a $75 pet fee but I didn't mind paying it so IDK where the attitude came from. Long story short she made my first impression of the Hotel terrible. Not only that I was already dealing with the passing of a family member which was the whole reason I was there. She needs to learn customer service skills! Lana and I think Tamika treated my family so well the next day and made us feel welcome there with no issues. The breakfast was good, and the food was plentiful. I have to say Emily makes me question staying at another HOME 2 suites again. That was not a good first impression.

BED BUGS (A very high probability)--From our experience there were bed bugs in our bed and couch. Of course, the hotel would never confirm this. But I woke up with fresh bites every day before I realized it came from my hotel room. I found 3 drops of blood on the sheets, which is highly indicative of bed bugs. When the hotel investigated, they took pictures to send to the exterminator; and they moved us out to the room across the hall. The next night our former room (where I had been bitten) had someone staying in it. I asked the hotel to exterminate my new room with all of my things that had been exposed to bugs. They refused. I called Hilton Diamond Desk and was able to get my things exterminated. They, also, were able to get the hotel to shut down our former bug room, clean it, and quarantine it for a time. After a lot of back and forth, I was offered 50,000 points. This is unacceptable. I worked 4 days trying to make sure I didn't bring my possessions home with bed bugs. Hilton Corporate denied my claim for more points as the points come from the hotel, and the hotel refused the extra compensation. So here I am--50,000 points later and a bad bed bug experience hopefully behind me. But other guests should beware! Our exposure to Bed Bugs (?) was not handled satisfactorily and was a very bad experience for me. We stay in the Hilton Chain so this sort of experience would never occur. However, not even Hilton Corporate would or could make this right.
