Rooms are small and cramped ours reeked of feet similar to a corn chip smell that slappedus in the face upon entry. The carpet really needs to be ripped up. The young man with the lonv permed hair was rude and lacked customer service skills when we complained about the smell he was not helpful at all. Additionally, they had the audacity to charge $14 for powdered eggs and a very lack luster breakfast that wouldn't have been good if it was complimentary. At this point I'm sticking to Hilton.

The bartender, Emma was a pleasure, even when some patrons were not so pleasant. My morning was complete with early morning coffee ready when I was. Ms. Edna was so pleasant and attentive in the morning!! Let’s not forget the desk clerk (I am so sorry I don’t have her name.), who ran after the patron who had left his wallet behind on the lobby couch!!! Happy Holidays to the marvelous staff at the Holiday Inn, Southaven!!

I don't usually eat bacon but Mr. Allen was a great chef and he prepared me the best waffle ever. Ms Edna is a great breakfast host and made sure that the guest were taken care of. Kirby, Rick,Olozo who worked at the front desk and Ana, the guest Service Manager were all very helpful. I did receive an unpleasant phone call from an unknown front desk employee who did not check to see that I had made a reservation for a 5th night, and she left a message on my cell phone that," check out time was at 11:00 and I need to return the call and come get my stuff that I left in the room". If she had checked before calling me she who had.discovered that I had booked for another night.
