I don't know if there was kind of event taking place that weekend, but the rates were a bit high. If I hadn't been so tired from the 11 hour drive, I would have tried to find something else instead.

Upon the initial call to the front desk, they answered immediately with a tone and implied attitude like you were disrupting their day. Clearly didn’t want to help or even say hello. Had an issue with my reservation and they made it an entire night of trying to figure it out simply by refusing to help me. I booked travel through my corporate company and the hotel would tell me they had my reservation but not under my name. They would not provide any additional information and eventually hang up on me. I then went through AMEX Global Travel and surprise, every time the agent tried to get beyond a single question, they would hang up on her. It took us 15+ calls to even get them to take action. Absolutely insane. I will never stay at a Holiday Inn again, that’s how terrible they’ve made my experience and I haven’t even been there for my stay yet.
