- LJLola JamesNov 26, 20252.0False advertising. They say pets are welcome, that is a flat out lie. I have a tiny little parakeet and was searching for a place that welcomes pets. I read about this place on the IHG app and was excited because of the overwhelmingly positive reviews. We came in told them about our parakeet and was no longer warm and welcoming. They made it very clear that my bird was not welcome and I had to pay a 50 dollar fee just because he was not a “normal pet”. We forced a smile and dealt with it. We went up to our room and made ourselves comfortable. The beds itself was clean but the bathroom? Ohhhh the bathroom was a mess! The toilet lid wasn’t aligned and hung off the side of the toilet and the bathtub was yellow. Again we just dealt with it. Breakfast wasn’t that bad some choices nothing outstanding, nothing better than other locations. The breakfast lady was nice. Overall the experience was not what I read about instead of nice staff the front desk clerk was very discriminatory of my bird, instead of a clean room I had a dirty bathtub I couldn’t sit in, and breakfast wasn’t just mediocre. What I learned from this is don’t just read the fake five star reviews. I don’t know if you can see it well enough in the pictures but if you’re brave enough you can see how bad it is in person
