Check in was a breeze! Thank you to the people at the front desk for amazing customer service and easygoing conversation that put us at ease. Thank you to people who wake up super early to have a fresh breakfast for us because it was something we always looked forward to and it helped start our day on a positive note. Thank you to the people who maintain the buildings and rooms every day at a high standard. This was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had and we honestly plan on booking more often with this hotel chain for our future vacations. We deeply appreciate all the staff there!

Hilton Diamond Member here: Worst hotel in Hattiesburg. The whole hotel sits on top of a freeway and the noise is never ending. You will hear that noise all night long. And the construction workers doing the hotel restoration work will be working next to your room until 10PM. Then they will party in the hallway while you try to sleep. And when you complain (as you should) the manager won’t even reach out to you to hear your complaint and apologize. Seriously, avoid this hotel. Bad juju.

This is an overall “meh” hotel for the location it’s in, the services provided, aesthetics, and overall “feel” of the place. While the room we had was spacious, it was clearly dated and needed an upgrade. For a HomeSuite I expected a little more from stays at other Hilton Suites.
The room was okay. Bed was uncomfortable on a personal preference, bathroom was unclean (hair in shower along the walls), and the furniture felt grungy, like it hadn’t been cleaned.
The staff were really nice when we spoke with them at check-in, during point of sale purchases, and when requesting pool table amenities.
No comments on the breakfast as we didn’t partake.

If I could leave -0- stars, I would. The room was dirty upon arrival. There was stuff spilled on the wall and pet stains on the carpet. We stayed here for 8 nights, only asking for extra towels and toilet paper. We left for an entire day and asked the front desk to have housekeeping service our room. We were told they would, but when we returned nothing had been touched. Asked again the following day for service and was transferred to the housekeeping manager, who berated my husband. She was loud and very rude, as was the person who called himself the day manager. He said they did not clean rooms on weekends. What?! After this treatment, we immediately checked out, even though we had extended our stay an additional week. The breakfast was pretty good each morning and a few people at the front desk were quite pleasant, but that is where the hospitality stopped! Find another place to stay! This place is an overpriced dump and the majority of their employees are rude!

We spent the night in Hattiesburg on the way to New Orleans. We couldn't have been happier than we were with this Home2 Suites hotel. Our room was well kept. I've seen complaints about the breakfast. I'm not sure what people expect, but I found it to be well stocked and tasty. The staff who I dealt with were friendly and competent. We were in the suite, and it's nice to be in a hotel that knows what a suite is. It has a separate bedroom with a door. I didn't take any pictures because there are many in the reviews and any pictures I would take would look just like the ones the hotel provides on their website.
