  This place has the kindest staff I've ever experienced at a hotel! From the front desk to the breakfast staff. Everyone was so friendly and went above and beyond for my family. Only con is the hotel room has a bit of noise at night but I think that's just the nature of hotels. Clean, nice room and lobby. Was perfect for our stop.

  I normally never leave Google reviews, but my stay was amazing. From checkin to checkout everyone was so friendly and helpful. The hotel was in immaculate condition and decorated beautifully for Christmas. The hospitality staff and service staff made us feel like family. Lastly the breakfast was so good. I highly recommend this hotel.

  We travel extensively inside and outside of the country and this location was such a wonderful surprise. The staff at check in were amazing and friendly! When my son, who attends USM, arrived to meet they offered to take our photo since it had been 6 months since we had seen each other. They were very sweet gals! The ladies at breakfast were helpful and wonderful and I appreciate the Greek yogurt and the awesome machine that brews coffee fresh every cup! Another perk was the hot chocolate bar! The different syrups personalized our cocoa. It was a chilly weekend and we utilized it! Housekeeping always had a smile when passing in the hall. It was a perfect location.

  This hotel was extremely clean and well kept. If it wasn’t recently built, I couldn’t tell. All of the staff was extra friendly from the front desk clerk at check in, the front desk clerk I asked to check for a belt in the lost and found, the breakfast area staff, and to the housekeeping staff who greeted us at every turn. I would definitely stay here again if I returned to Hattiesburg. The only con I would not, and that is simply based on the design of the building, it the amount of noise you receive in room 216 from the freeway at night. My brother stayed in this room and mentioned it to me, but didn’t find it bothersome enough to ask for a room change.

  I spoke with the general manager, Troy, after calling to obtain the confirmation numbers for the three hotel rooms we booked a month ago for my daughter’s graduation. Instead of assisting me with the confirmations, he refused to honor the original rate that was quoted to me and repeatedly attempted to pressure me into verbally agreeing to a higher rate. I explained multiple times that this trip was for a graduation celebration. The importance of this trip could not have been clearer, yet Troy, the manager, could not have cared less. I also informed him that the reservations were made through the company’s 800-number customer service line and that the quoted rate of $110 had been confirmed, but he insisted that this was not their policy to uphold a rate give by a CSR. Despite my efforts to work with him and my willingness to do whatever was necessary to keep the rooms, he continued pushing for a rate increase. As I was asking him to provide the confirmation numbers, he abruptly hung up on me. When I called back, he stated that he would give me the confirmation numbers but was also canceling our reservations and that I would need to find another hotel. As the manager, he should have honored the rate originally provided by their customer service team. Instead, he chose to cancel our reservations and handle the situation unprofessionally, despite knowing the significance of the trip and my father’s veteran status.
