Mary at the front desk was very friendly. The hotel is very close to food and shopping, and the university. The rooms were clean however they looked like they needed to be updated. We stayed in room 418. And there seemed to be some maintenance issues to say the least. We did not eat breakfast here. The prices seemed a bit high.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What an absolutely wonderful stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Hattiesburg, Mississippi! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm, welcoming atmosphere, made even more special by the beautiful holiday décor throughout the hotel. The staff truly went above and beyond—everyone I encountered was incredibly pleasant, friendly, and genuinely helpful, which made the entire stay seamless and enjoyable. As a team member, I was kindly upgraded, and the room exceeded my expectations. It was spacious, spotless, and very well maintained, with a super comfortable bed that made it easy to relax and get a great night’s sleep. While the view from my room wasn’t ideal due to its location, it honestly didn’t take away from the experience at all. The attention to detail, cleanliness, and overall care of the property really stood out. This hotel is a true gem, and it’s clear the staff takes great pride in what they do. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would absolutely recommend this Hilton Garden Inn to anyone visiting the Hattiesburg area!

Absolutely ridiculous!! My husband and I stay at hilton's all the time across the united states. This is the first one we've ever stayed at where they do not include a free continental breakfast, and to add insult to injury, they offer a menu that they'll cook to order for you. So you spend almost three hundred dollars for 1 night. The beds are hard as a rock. The floor was not clean in the bathroom. And on the way out, I noticed a gigantic amount of boxes and trash just stored in the back of a stairwell, and you have to walk around items to get out. I get in the shower. We're on the second of three floors and it takes at least ten full minutes before the water is warm enough before I can get in. And something really strange that i've never seen in a hotel ever is a motion sensor light in the middle of the room that turns on.So if you have guests which we do, and anybody gets up to use the bathroom. This light comes on and blinds everybody, and you have to wait for the timer to go off and then it turns on right when you come out of the bathroom rewaking, everybody up. I go downstairs when I find out about the breakfast and I say to the person at the front desk as I walk by..." we've stayed at hilton's across this country and even stayed at one last night that had a free continental breakfast. The one we stayed at even had hot potatoes, hot grits, hot oatmeal pancake service waffle service.... The one here that you're supposed to pay nine dollars for all you can eat was a couple of pastries a couple of things of cereal and that's it" i'm not exaggerating at all when I say he didn't acknowledge my words just slowly lowered his gaze to the floor and waited till I walked away. Absolutely ridiculous. And not to mention when we signed up for the room online before arrival to the hotel, we selected and chose to pay for 2 pets, totaling seventy five dollars. And upon reviewing our bill as we were walking out the door they added another 82.00 for traveling with pets fee? We told the front desk person. We don't understand since we already paid on the app.And we showed them proof then they said they would remove it. Check your bills if you decide to ignore this message and stay at a hilton garden. Never ever ever again Hilton.

When I arrived Ms Christie checked us in. She was very polite and courteous. When we got to our room we discovered that it was not handicapped accessible, very small. We contacted the front desk.Yes, they immediately began to work on getting us a handicap accessible room. Day referred me to the manager , Ramon. He worked on the problem throughout the night and promised me that I could have a handicap accessible room the next day. When we returned from our event on Saturday afternoon, we need to move into a much spacious room in hand accessible bathroom. From the time we check in everyone was professional and courteous. From housekeeping to management. The only issue I have with this Hotel is that they did not offer complimentary breakfast. $10 is too much for a piece of fruit. Or a bowl of grits.
