It is a short drive from the Greenwood Country Club golf course, Leflore Lanes bowling alley, Museum of the Mississippi Delta and Turn Row Book Store.     I went to Mississippi for a funeral and chose this hotel I should have known that this was not going to be a good experience from the first encounter. The GM tried to authorize a payment from my card for the room before I got there, which check in was at 3pm got the call at like 2:15pm, mind you I reserved two room first encounter, second encounter the second room had lady bugs crawling on the walls and did not notice the bugs until leaving for the funeral made the hotel aware and the one of the staffs did not care and responded " okay they are Lady bugs, it is that time of year. " called customer service they did reach out to the staff and they went into the room to vacuum the bugs out, but when got back to the room there were more lady bugs seen than the ones seen before leaving for the funeral, family that was in the second room left and was still charged for that nights room and was told the refund could not be giving back cause it was after 11am and the hotel was aware of the issue before 11am was also told we had to speak with GM to get a refund, which is not fair due to circumstances. After seeing that what they did did not work my family in the other room decides to vacate that room due to they stated they did not have another room to give us and was charged for that night and was told it was up to the GM to make that choice which was the same GM that tried to authorize my card before getting there. Third thing was went back to the second room and locate two lady bugs on the wall killed one by spraying with Santizee spray that we had and before checking out seen two more lady bugs. The unacceptable thing about this matter is that the staff is fully aware of the lady bug issue and problem, but do not make the customers aware of the problem. Which they should cause you do not know if someone is allergic to lady bugs or not and allow the customer to make that choice to stay or not. Mind you I have pictures of both rooms with the lady bugs on the wall which I have attached the pictures of both of the rooms. The forth thing is front desk staff is very unprofessional, Non-Urgent, and rude. They do not care about their customers at all. During my stay I had encounter with only three of the staffs that had a great attitude the young man that work the desk at night, a young lady that checked me in and the young lady in the kitchen. This was the worst experience that I ever had. I call customer service on each occasion they only handle one of the matters the other two remain as nothing being done. There was no problem with paying for the room but when you paying your money you want a great experience atleast. I will never go back to that hotel ever again. But if you want an disappointed experience please go there. I have never had such a bad experience in my life this was not a pleasant trip at all. They need a whole new staff with the exception of three workers. An still have not received a called back on the other matter as of yet.

    Our evening clerk named Errison was awesome. Friendly and efficient. Great hotel chain. Stayed at Westbend, MO, Selma, AL and now Greenwood, Ms on our 10 day vacation.
