  Most of the experience was good. Check out was the only problem. I had requested late check out when I made my reservation and confirmed with the front desk that I had late check out for 2pm the morning of my last day after working a night shift. I got woken up at 11:45am by house keeping and then called by the front desk telling me that I should have been checked out by 11am. After informing them that I had late check, they told me that there was no record of my late check out and that late check out was 12:00pm and not the 2pm I had confirmed that morning. The front desk came across as irritated about the late check out and basically told me that I had 15mins to get out of the room. Would recommend staying, would not recommend late check out or dealing with this front desk.

  I am a highly upset with how my reservation was handled, I am a igh member. I booked a reservation a couple of days ago a double room cause we heading up there for the weekend cause my wife's kid had a baby. The hotel calls me today and tells me they overbooked the rooms with a church group and all they have is king rooms. So I asked being I had a double room and all they have is singles could they put me in two kings instead. She told me I can pay for two king rooms if I would like but they can't give me a room. They waited till the last minute to tell me this, the lady said her name was Brittany. The least they could of done is put me in two rooms being this put me in a huge bind and it was all because they over booked and told me last minute.

  Nicely remodeled but still some residual smells in the rooms from maybe carpet cleaning that wasn’t dried out or humidity build up. Also the pillows had a strange smell. Otherwise the staff were amazing and everything was really clean. I was impressed with the breakfast options.

  Check in was not the greatest, front end staff can use some training, the rooms are clean. Anita, the lady that does the breakfast should be doing training for all other HI Express breakfast staff. Her Biscuits are the best!

  Quit possibly the epitome of 'southern hospitality' on every level. Shout out to the manager (a gentleman), the continental breakfast crew (I actually looked forward to breakfast), Cicely (a very friendly face of the hotel) and TaWanda (a very helpful and gracious attendant). Cheers....
