- JBJeffrey BrowningNov 3, 20255.0Very much enjoyed our stay in this renovated hotel. There are remnants of it's former life, but overall, this hotel offers a pretty modern reno. What makes the hotel better than most are the staff who obviously care about the quality of the stay. I will highlight 2 persons who I believe are key to the success of this location. Nic, the GM is one of the best GMs we've come across in the hundreds of hotels we stay in as we travel for work. It shows in his face that he is genuine and that's something you can't fake. He has taken care of us on several occasions now and we want to say thanks and we are grateful. The other person we want to recognize is someone we get to see work hard. Anita handles the breakfast on the "good" days of breakfast. Care is taken that the food is presentable and the area is super clean. This is something we take very seriously and she delivers day after day. I'm even happy on the non-bacon days. But I like the bacon days better. Anita and Nic, we see you and recognize, appreciate and applaud you. Keep it up, it's worth it. Mel and I hope the best for you.
