  As a Diamond Elite member obviously I spend a lot of time and money on/with IHG properties. I try to contribute opinions as often as I can especially if the Hotel is exceptionally good but also if they are exceptionally bad. The Front woman was very very very rude to me. Her little children were playing behind front Desk- She had little control of their behavior. When I pulled up to the hotel, I almost didn't stay because the canopy lights were out, essentially the hotel that closed for business. Is that always checking in?I asked the friend desk why they can't be lights were out. She told me she wasn't aware that they were out.But that she would turn them on. I went down about an hour after check in to check out the snacks in the pantry. The same front desk lady had not turned on the canopy lights yet. The hotel and the room was very nice.Especially the bed. I certainly will have no problem. Staying there again, but I dread checking in.If that particular person is running the front desk. If you don't fire her, you should at least retrain her. Hotels are hospitality business, and she is everything.But hospitable.

  If you're looking for a wonderful hotel within 50 miles of the Brookhaven, MS. area, this is the one! It's exceptionally clean with a pleasant smell throughout! The bed and bedding were very comfortable. The friendly staff goes above and beyond to accommodate you. The man in charge of making the breakfast was top notch as well! He steered my husband toward a hot fresh biscuit rather than have the one that had been there (which I am sure was delicious, too!) And the rest of breakfast was delicious as well!

  Hard to get to, beds too hard, couldn’t eat breakfast because we seem rotten fruit, wonder what else was bad???? Went for my mom funeral!

  Very much enjoyed our stay in this renovated hotel. There are remnants of it's former life, but overall, this hotel offers a pretty modern reno. What makes the hotel better than most are the staff who obviously care about the quality of the stay. I will highlight 2 persons who I believe are key to the success of this location. Nic, the GM is one of the best GMs we've come across in the hundreds of hotels we stay in as we travel for work. It shows in his face that he is genuine and that's something you can't fake. He has taken care of us on several occasions now and we want to say thanks and we are grateful. The other person we want to recognize is someone we get to see work hard. Anita handles the breakfast on the "good" days of breakfast. Care is taken that the food is presentable and the area is super clean. This is something we take very seriously and she delivers day after day. I'm even happy on the non-bacon days. But I like the bacon days better. Anita and Nic, we see you and recognize, appreciate and applaud you. Keep it up, it's worth it. Mel and I hope the best for you.
