    Holiday Inn was clean, comfortable, and beautiful. I slept well in the comfortable bed. It is across the street from the beach. You can walk for miles on the sidewalk or the beach.

    I've stayed here a few times. There's a particular quirk about the place that's largely kept me away: if you book a Government rate, the desk staff will insist that you use a Government travel card. Use of a GTC is generally directed by Government travel rules, but that's between the employee or military member and the Government; the GTC is just a credit card, and the rules make clear that an expense remains eligible for reimbursement even if charged to a personal card. There are also exceptions to the GTC rule (such as Reserve travel not eligible for reimbursement), and the desk staff at a hotel are simply not qualified to weigh in on the matter. Regardless of which situation applies to me at a given time, being told that I MUST use a GTC in order to check in is intrusive and off-putting, so I've basically stopped considering this place on my itineraries to the area. If I want to stay at an IHG hotel, I opt for the Holiday Inn out by the airport, and if I want to stay in Biloxi, I choose a Hilton or Marriott brand.

    I wouldn’t even give a 1 star for service it was horrible we’re from out town so we was on vacation coming to stay there 1st off I paid extra to get the ocean view I never got wat was advertised in the picture when I booked the hotel and then when we finally made it there we was little late cuz it was storming bad and we got caught in parking was horrible we had park so far from the hotel n the back parking lot where the sign said park at your own risk so we stressed bout our car and couldn’t really take any of our stuff to the hotel cuz it was too far a walk with all our stuff and my husband has trouble walking very far! So we’re both aggravated and soaked by time we get to the hotel!!! the black girl at the desk was so rude said ur lucky u made it n time I was bout to charge u for no show I let it go we drove over 13 hours and was tired n wanted go bed my husband was trying ask was there somewhere closer he could park cuz he had a handicap sticker n has trouble walking the girl was clearly parked in the handicap spot and was not handicap she said I parked n the last spot because im filling in for someone and im not walking very far so rude we just said forget it and go to the room it smelled so bad in there musty in there, the ac wouldn’t work so it was hot in there, the sink n the bathroom was clogging up, and there was kids running up down the hallway half the night then finally get to sleep at 3 n the morning at 7 we get woke up with fire alarm going off and was told to evacuate the hotel cuz someone was smoking n the bathroom n the lobby! So when everyone came back in we decided to eat There was hardly any breakfast n it was so horrible we paid for 2 nights but I was so unhappy and my husband tried to explain the situation how frustrated we was the little girl at the desk that morning was even rude said im sorry i dont know what to do for you!! So my husband said I jus want my money back I’ll pay the night we stayed but we’re not staying another night we’ll go somewhere else she jus said that’s fine less we have to deal with and said when u get your stuff I’ll check u out and refund u for 1 night and fyi if u want ocean view u have to pay extra we told her we did and showed her wat i was suppose to got and wat i actually got cuz i took pics her response was that’s not my fault u believe the picture we have posted! everyone in the lobby heard this girl n was shocked for horrible customer service we just experienced if she don’t like her job she shouldn’t be working at a hotel!!! We go to get our stuff we smelled something burning look up there’s smoke coming from the ceiling n lights so we definitely was n hurry to get out we go to check out i was trying be nice and said u have smoke coming by your elevator she just said not my problem and threw my receipt paper at me no thank u or anything so i said thank u and she gave me a dirty look and just walked away I will NEVER step foot in this place ever again ive never been so disrespected by anyone in Hilton hotel like this unprofessional and disprectful !
