- MMMichael MOct 14, 20255.0We were exhausted and after being shunned by another hotel because of our fur babies(cats), Bryon at Holiday Inn Express made us immediately feel at home, treating us like family with his welcoming banter and humor. He also went above and beyond helping us find a good place to park our huge 26 foot Penske and attached car trailer. As you can imagine, it’s hard to maneuver and find appropriate places to park and he came out and directed us to a great spot. Although he couldn’t give us a main floor room, he gave us one right by the elevator so my disabled wife wouldn’t have to walk far. The room was absolutely spotless, smelled good and the oh so comfy beds were a real treat compared to other hotels we’d stayed at on our lengthy trip. I wish I had gotten the model of that bed because it was like sleeping in a cloud and we felt rejuvenated in the morning. We actually overslept and unfortunately missed the free breakfast. We did get to get some nice strong coffee from the lobby before hitting the road again. The rooms did have a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker with several selections of coffee and tea and the air conditioner worked so well that we froze, lol. The morning shift manager was happy to hear we had a great stay and was also a nice guy himself. While this is definitely not a budget hotel, it was worth every penny spent.

- PWPatrick WilliamsonOct 7, 20251.0My wife and were driving across the country for a funeral and checked into this hotel after a long day of travel hoping for a good night of rest before getting back on the road the following morning. We checked in late at night (around midnight) with the intention of sleeping in late the next morning before getting started on the drive again. Unfortunately, our rest was interrupted by heavy construction noise (jackhammers, construction vehicles, and workers making noise) that was taking place approximately 20 feet from our room window at 8am. While we understand this type of work has to be done at some point, I’m not sure why it was happening so early in the morning or why we were placed in a room within such close proximity of the work being done. I addressed these concerns with the front desk attendant and was immediately dismissed and was told there was nothing that could be done. I wasn’t expecting a full refund, but I struggle to understand the justification behind charging over $200 for a room we used for less than 10 hours that was in the middle of a construction site. Extremely disappointing, and we will be sure to look elsewhere for accommodations moving forward, I recommend the same for anyone else passing through this area.
