Perfect location with easy access to Whole Foods and great restaurants. Wonderful coffee shop downstairs. Service was super friendly (thanks dave!). Only minor issue with rooms was a heavy air freshener scent. Also not great so many rooms are on the first floor but at least the windows were not openable and a grid so it felt okay still.

I thought I was reserving holiday inn express but got there and its Indigo! Very confusing. So though I saw free breakfast, this new hotel management have a food court attached called Bel Air Social. Nothing is free there.. in the morning we would have to buy the continental breakfast offered so we did not. Luckily just round the corner was an excellent diner called Kingside that gave us the delicious hot breakfast we wanted!!!
Room was nice, clean and spacious.

We had an horrible experience at this hotel, and I would not recommend to others.
Check in took around 30 minutes total, as we were given the wrong key and the front desk woman could not figure out what room we were in. We stayed for 1 night and enjoyed the coffee shop downstairs the next morning.
By the next night we noticed our bed was infested with bed bugs, and my boyfriend had bed bugs crawling on his shirt. We went to the lady downstairs in the lobby and she was completely unhelpful. She did offer to move us to a different room, but we knew that this point our belongings have been in a bed bug infested room for over almost 48 hours and we more than likely have infested our belongings so there was no point in moving our infested belongings to another room in this hotel. The woman who was working that night called her manager, who said he would process our refund the following morning. We removed all of our belongings and drove to a nearby laundromat to wash and dry our belongings to kill any bugs that were in our belongings.
The following morning we went in to talk to the manager, and he let us know he has processed our refund and gave us his information. The only person who ACTUALLY helped us was the woman up front named Faith (huge thank you to you, you are amazing and absolutely deserve a raise).
It has since been almost an entire month, and we have not received a refund for the stay. Take your time, energy, and money elsewhere as this hotel is ran poorly, dirty, and management is extremely unhelpful and unaccountable. The Angad arts hotel is not far from this place, and the service we received there was over the top compared to this awful hotel.

UNCOMFORTABLY HOT ROOM WITH AC NOT WORKING! The people at the front desk have terrible attitude. The temperature control at the room they gave me doesn't work and when I brought it up the woman was rude and said, "I wish you had come earlier ". Turns out there's no one to fix things after 4 pm. Then they should check the condition of the rooms first!! Then she made a show of calling her supervisor, rolled her eyes at me, was rude some more, and said someone would go right away to my room to fix it, but no one came! I am staying at IHG after a long time and regret my decision. I don't think I will return to this chain. EVEN THE PHONE IN THE ROOM DIDN'T WORK. IT'S AN OVERPRICED BUDGET HOTEL WITH A FANCY NAME AND NO BASIC AMENITIES!
Edit to reply: I went back to the front desk after my initial review and requested a room change as the assigned room was too hot. The front desk outright refused and aggressively told me I should have ignored whatever I was busy with and called the front desk early in the morning even stating an incorrect check in time for me. PLEASE NOTE THEIR POLICY SEEMS TO BE THAT IF YOU DON'T REPORT A PROBLEM IMMEDIATELY AFTER CHECKING IN THEY WILL REFUSE TO CORRECT IT. I had to point out that I am paying full price and should get a livable room. She wouldn't even let me check that the new room assigned didn't have any defects until I packed up all my luggage and checked out of the current room. If the new room had problems I would have to go through the process again and waste more time. I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH APATHETIC BEHAVIOR ANYWHERE ELSE, NOT EVEN IN BUDGET HOTELS WHEN I WAS YOUNGER! They just showed me why I should not reconsider spending extra bucks at my favorite hotel program (NOT IHG) in future. And I am not risking the food at this hotel. The shameless pitch for their restaurants in their reply is distasteful. There are lots of good options in the area outside this hotel, each with good food and professional service.
To the hotel: please don't disturb me and waste more of my time tomorrow. Just send housekeeping as (I hope is) normal.

Just stayed two days there Oct. 28 thru Oct. 30, 2025 for the Clutch chess tournament at the St. Louis chess club. I was quoted roughly 100.00/per night, which I paid at the time of booking. I was, of course, hit with a couple small fees at checkout but we all know those are coming. What I wasn't expecting were the additional fees that hit my account over the next week. I made contact with the general manager and the charges were corrected. No idea if this is a regular thing or not but it's always a good idea to check your account after a hotel stay.
The room was clean, quiet and comfortable and the shower was awesome, I'm now shopping for the showerhead they used in this hotel. My only complaint is that the TV remote is a pain to use. The location is the biggest attraction, it's close to everything you might need. I see a lot of complaints about the parking situation, but I had no issues. Easy to navigate, plenty of room.
