My girlfriend and I met her family at the Four Seasons on our way to Missouri for Christmas. The staff were incredibly professional and attentive, and were able to accommodate any question or request we had. Clearly very high-end, however a little dated in comparison to some of the smaller, newer, boutique hotels we usually gravitate toward. However the views of the St. Louis river and the Arch were very nice, and could be easily seen from their rooftop terrace or the on-site, “Gordan Ramseys Kitchen”. The hotel was also very accommodating to our dog whom joined us on the trip. That being said, considering the scale of the hotel, it’s difficult to come and go very efficiently when needing to take him for walks. There are plenty of walking paths around(including leading directly to the Arch), but it was difficult to find green space in the immediate area, and overall there were still some unsavory folks and homeless individuals hanging around the area, though I suspect that may in part be due to its vicinity to the casino next door. All that being said, we never felt unsafe, and it was clear the doormen were paying careful attention when we were outside walking our dog. The gym was very nice and spacious, including plenty of weight lifting machines. Of course, the dumbells were limited (up to 50), but I understand that is pretty standard for hotels. Overall, one of the nicer hotel gyms I’ve used. Finally, Gordon Ramseys kitchen was very nice and highfalutin, but there were a couple items which I felt were unreasonably pricy considering the substance (for instance the added chicken to our salad was $15 for about 3oz). As well, when we picked up our order, they forgot a couple things. So we needed to make a separate trip. Of course, we neglected to make a reservation, so I’m willing to give this a mulligan, especially considering the breakfast we had the next day, which was absolutely divine. As well, the cocktails we had at the bar were perhaps some of the best I’ve ever had in a hotel.

We arrived at the Four Seasons after a fine dinner with my brother Thomas, my Niece, Beverly and I. My niece dropped us off at the front door. We did not utilize the Valet for parking but they were ever so kind holding the doors open for us. We went to the front desk. Ms YESHE BUNTOWIJAYA greeted us warmly. She introduced us to the night Manager Mr Luke Hutton. We noticed a light in the living room was not working so we called for help. I looked at the plug, the cord and I could see nothing. The gentleman came immediately. I forgot his name. Please look him up and thank him for us. He was new to Four Seasons. He will be a wonderful asset here. We returned to our room. Bev was exhausted from the travel. She kicked off her shoes and laid on top of the bed. She was out like a light. I relaxed writing notes then went to get ready for Bed. I washed up in a bathroom that was perfect for the handicap. I put on a very thick robe the hotel provides. The Bed was wonderful, perfect in every way. Sleep must have been fantastic if I judge by my bed head …flat in one place. We woke up knowing it was the day of the party. A great Hot shower! And off we went for a relaxing breakfast. Once in Gordon Ramsey restaurant we were overwhelmed. Juljan was our server and was absolutely professional ,friendly, and had a great sense of humor. Daniel was so very kind welcoming us here. She knew I loved the orange juice and got me a second one. Bev was thrilled with the breakfast. She could only eat a bit of it. I loved the Honey on toast. Hope stopped by our table to join in the laughter and smiles. She let us know she would be at the party that night. We looked around the hotel again finding the Spa as well as the ball room. Where to go and if there is room. My ADHD kicks in when there is an unknown. It was being prepared for the party so we did not stay long but long enough to know we were informed a special treat. Once at the Party on the 6th floor Hope saw us and came right over to us to say hello. That was so nice of her to remember us from Breakfast and go out of her way to see us. We looked around the hotel finding the restaurant for breakfast, and the Spa as well as the ball room. I do hope we earned the respect and kindness that everyone treated us with. We felt like family.
