I’m torn on how to rate this place.
The room colors are cool, we had yellow and it was very cheery. Comfortable bed and no hygiene issues. Cute artsy aesthetic throughout.
However the service is atrocious. I travel frequently and it’s some of the most baffling I have experienced. I made the original booking with my name and my friends name on the reservation. On the day of checkin my friend texts me because she’s been waiting and unable to check in due to her name somehow missing. I call the hotel and add her. Later that night I go to check in, and the desk staff tells me they can’t find my name or reservation anywhere. I show the woman at the desk my itinerary confirmation and payment. She ignores it and says she can’t do anything. She was incredibly dismissive. She calls the room - which funnily enough shows my name. I call my friend who comes down to the lobby and tells them I made the rez and shows a picture of my name on the tv. The desk attendant then asks my friend if it’s okay to give me a key….to the room I booked and paid for. Incompetence.
Additionally the rooftop bar drinks are gross and overpriced. Housekeeping did not come and no showed when asked for additional towels next day. Saw numerous people whose keys did not work in the elevator.
Keisha in the hotel restaurant was kind and fabulous however.
Overall, cute but unprofessional. I nearly did a a charge back.

I absolutely adored my stay here. So much so that I extended my stay by an extra day. It smells wonderful when you first walk in to the first floor. The art behind the doors is cool and the hotel is overall very well decorated. Every employee I interacted with was kind and respectful and my room was spotless. I will be returning

Really loved the vibe of this hotel! From the lobby to the gym to the rooms, everything looked amazing and super artsy….just like the name says. The rooftop bar had gorgeous views of the skyline and was such a nice spot to hang out, though the bartender wasn’t very friendly and honestly looked like he didn’t want to be there.
I had to get some work done, and the hotel was great for that. There’s a beautiful conference room that was open, so I parked myself there for a while, and there’s also a cute little area by the check-in desk where you can work or just chill.
The location was perfect! We walked to a few breweries and some of the main tourist spots with no problem. We love to walk when we travel, so to us, it was walkable. I brought our husky mix, and it was super pet-friendly with lots of open space for walks. The beds were super comfy, we had a nice view, and the area felt safe and welcoming.
Best part? Tons of free street parking, so we didn’t have to pay for a garage. Overall, loved the stay and would totally come back again!
Great rooms and service, blue room is a bit dark, invest into better lighting. Also, if you don't know where the Main Lobby is (it's on the 12th floor) getting there with the app is terrible and will not work half the time, this made it inconvenient for my guests and myself. Also the restaurant/bar down stairs is only open availability after 6pm before that (even just to order a water and lemon is not allowed when the lounge is half empty, which I get you're trying to be elegant, but you're a hotel on the opposite side of St.Louis, get over yourself. Let me get a drink and some food while I stay there because there were no ice machines or one complimentary water bottle and you have to go back to the lobby every time to get more water, which is very inconvenient when on business and just want to have accessible water. They sent me to the roof top, which is essentially a frat house party at night. Your art display isn't even that good for you all to have that big an ego for blocking access to the back door and side door.

DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL. Especially if you want a specific room color. Those of you in town who know me know I would not complain unless it was really BAD.
My daughter booked a $400 room over the phone and was told they would be staying in a red room with a king bed, which was also reflected in her confirmation email. However, when she checked in, they were given a green suite instead. They weren’t notified of this change by phone, email, or even at the front desk when we arrived. They didn't realize until they got upstairs with all of their red clothes packed for cute photos that the room was green.
Thinking it was a mistake, they went back down to ask the front desk, and that’s when we were told the hotel had oversold the original room, and they'd been switched without notice. They were also told there was no way to speak with a manager, and aside from free parking, nothing else was offered. I called to see if an older voice would help and they told me the same thing and said no discount would be given. The offered them free $30 breakfast or parking. :/
This stay was for a special occasion, and the specific room and color were a big part of their plans, including some creative photography they’d styled around the red room (Nothing Shades of Grey. They were very cute photos! Lol). Unfortunately, the surprise change threw everything off. She ended up in tears, and they even had to drive back home to change outfits because everything they had packed was red. It was a really upsetting way to start what should have been a memorable night.
The communication about major reservation changes like this should be guaranteed. Had they known, they would've planned around the new color, made other arrangements, or at least come prepared. And they shoud've been given the option to cancel ahead of time if the room color wasn't available. If so, they could've rescheduled for a different night.
The "Director of Rooms" offered no discount on the room.
She shouldn't have had to pay the full price when she didn't get the confirmed room. They would've stayed somewhere else cheaper if they weren't getting the room they wanted. The whole reason they wanted to go here is because of the color themed rooms. Very disappointing.
