    Initially it was a little hard to find, but Garmin really came in handy. The big issue was you enter someone else's parking lot and the first time the entrance is not all that Obvious... However, once you get in the place it is easy. Staff is great! Rooms are clean. Heat failed and it got cold fast. (Things break), Maintenance guy had to replace the entire unit and did so very efficiently. Things fail many times without reason sometimes and no one to blame. Maintenance Guy is a good and very hard worker. He is a real asset to this location. He even got along with my Savannah Cat and that rarely happens with her. Animals naturally know who is good and who isn't.

    Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here. The staff is completely unprofessional and incompetent. To make matters worse, the rooms are not in great condition and the entire hotel smells like an ashtray. When I checked out after one night, they overcharged me but I did not know that because they didn’t give me a receipt as the front desk worker said the printer wasn’t working. He promised me that he would email me the receipt but it never came. When I finally saw that I had been overcharged, I tried to call them to resolve the situation. I have now called them 5 times and they just hang up on me when I ask them for a receipt. This place is a joke and I am shocked they are still open. Stay away!

    I want to have my $100 returned from Candlewood Suites in St. Charles that they mistakenly withdrew from my account in less than 30 seconds for some reason it takes then an entire month to return my money in what i picture is pretty much the same process they used to withdraw my money at Olympic speed with zero issues. Unfreakinbelievable. Not only that they double charged me for my security deposit which interestingly were transactions 5 minutes apart and the amounts were $100 and $116??? Which would make more sense if they charged me the same amount just accidentally ran it twice. But nope. 2 withdraws 2 different amounts. This was April 3rd and after numerous phone calls and emails they still have not released my deposit. Its April 23rd?!..At one point I had paid almost 2X the room price in security deposits alone.?! P.S. AND YOU NOTICE NO RESPONSE FROM MGMT. IM GUESSING CUZ MY RESERVATION WAS UNDER MY NAME AND THEY HAD NO PROBLEM FIGURING PUT I WAS RIGHT. OTHERWISE THEY BLOW U OFF WITH THE STANDARD ANSWER OF "WE DID NOT SEE A RESERVATION WITH UR NAME ON IT" TO INSINUATE YPUR REVIEW WAS INVALID OR BOGUS. OR AT LEAST ATTEMPT TO DISCREDIT. YOU NOTICE NO HESITATION TO RESPOND TO FAVORABLE REVIEWS.

    It’s honestly a solid location—really quiet, especially during the day. It seems like a lot of out-of-town workers stay here just to rest before their shifts, so the vibe is pretty calm. That said, the rooms definitely need a stronger QA process when it comes to cleaning and maintenance. There are quite a few things that should be addressed. Overall, the property could feel like a 4- or 5-star hotel, but the rooms just don’t match that level. Our first room wasn’t great, but I will say the staff was very accommodating and moved us to a better one. Even then, the second room still had a number of issues. Final thoughts: if you’re coming from out of town, need something affordable, and have a bigger family (we’re a family of five), the two-bedroom option is a huge plus—especially on short notice at a decent price. In that case, it’s worth booking. But if you’re particular about cleanliness and overall upkeep, I’d probably look elsewhere—or at least be cautious about the rooms.

    I had the worst experience with the service for this hotel. I booked online and when I showed up they had double booked me and said they were sold out and there was nothing I could do. I was then told I couldn’t receive a written request of this problem to document, and now they’re saying there’s no response from the hotel to try to get a refund.
