I had a very bad experience with front desk staff named Barbara. She was extremely rude and very unprofessional on the phone and resulted in me deciding to cancel my stay there before check in and eating the fees associated with late cancellation. Highly recommend her having a little refresher on customer service and what it takes for a decent human interaction

I wouldn’t give this hotel even 1 star. I stayed in this hotel 2/21/26. To start it took 45 min to check in. My rate was $179.99 plus tax and I was told that breakfast was not included in my price. RIDICULOUS!!!! Even though it stated on the website breakfast was included in my price. I left that issue alone. I continue to check in and left the hotel due to trying to find another hotel to stay for the night however other hotels were booked leaving me stuck at this HOLIDAY INN. Upon returning to the hotel at 8pm I noticed that it was mildew in the shower and on the ceiling of the bathroom. I called down to the front desk and was told that the hotel was full and that I would not be able to move rooms I have to wait until morning for a refund. We couldn’t take showers due to the shower being backed up and the mildew in the bathroom. If that wasn’t enough that night the heat was not working. I called down to the front desk AGAIN and was told someone would bring up a space heater to warm the room. After 1 hour I called back down to the front desk and was told to come down to the front desk to get a “space heater”. It went from someone bringing the space heater to my room to me being inconvenienced and was told to come get the space heater. Me and my kids had to bundle up and sleep in our clothes. If that wasn’t enough kids were running up and down the hallway knocking on doors. Another call down to the front desk and I was told that they received several complaints but unable to narrow down what room the kids were coming out of. I was told by the night staff that I can speak to management in the morning at 7:00am. I came down to the front desk at 7:20am and the same person that checked me in the day before Shair was the person the night shift told me to speak to for a refund. Told me he couldn’t give me a refund but he can give me points “As if I will EVER stay at another HOLIDAY INN. He told me I had to speak to someone in management on Monday. This was the Worst hotel I have ever stayed in, terrible service, not clean, no sleep, heat not working and mildew in the hotel room. VERY disappointed in EVERYTHING!! Do not stay here!!!!

I drive a truck over the road and occasionally I will stay at this hotel. This used to be my go-to hotel but I have had several issues with it in the past so I stopped staying here. Tonight I was unable to get to the hotel that I normally stay at so I went ahead and stayed here. They have great parking available for a semi. The staff are friendly. Those are about the only two positives I have. The hotel itself is a little outdated but they have also done a lot of improvements over the past few years so that doesn't bother me too much since there are also several improvements. Through my booking service it stated that I did not have to pay a deposit but once I got to the hotel they still required a deposit anyways. Kind of annoying but I understand this happens when you stay at certain hotels. The misinformation was just annoying and their deposit typically takes a week to refund which is also annoying. The new restaurant seemed quite nice. Great service and the staff were very friendly and the food was great. The room itself was fairly clean but as I said, it was outdated. The air conditioning was so loud that it sounds like a freight train is rolling through my room. The TV says it has services to be able to cast your device but once you click on it it says it is not connected to the internet which is a little frustrating as well since most hotels offer streaming services on their TVs. In the past I've had to deal with a lot of construction issues with their remodel which is now completed so the hotel itself was in a lot better shape than the last time I was here. My room on the other hand was by far the worst part of this stay. Besides the air conditioning being so loud that I couldn't even hear the TV without cranking it up, I also had a wasp infestation. I found a wasp in my room up on arrival and I understand stuff like that happens occasionally. It's the natural order of things so I wasn't too worked up about it. After I eat dinner I found another wasp. I killed that wasp as well and was starting to get slightly frustrated but I wasn't too worried about it since I have to be up extremely early for work. After I laid in bed I saw another wasp go flying over my head and I killed it. At this point I was starting to get very frustrated. Once I turn the TV off and getting ready to fall asleep I reach for my phone to set my alarm and there was a wasp next to it as well. By this point I was completely distraught and called the front desk to let them know what was going on. They offered to have me come down so they could switch rooms for me but by this point in the evening I really just needed to get sleep and didn't have time to pack up all my stuff and move to another room. After that I still experience a couple more wasps in the room and have decided that this hotel is not the hotel for me. I have given them multiple chances and left multiple reviews but it seems every time I come here the hotel itself is just garbage. The employees are great, the service is great, and the restaurant is great. But the facilities and the operations are absolute garbage. I have come in to find out that my TV didn't work, I have come in to a bathtub that had paint chips in it and clumps of dirt in it and look like it had never even been cleaned, and I have even paid extra to make sure I got the breakfast in the morning but was told I still had to pay for breakfast in the morning because it didn't show on my room that I had for breakfast. Every time I stay at this hotel it seems like a new issue so in the future I would prefer to stay at any other hotel before I have to stay at this one. Unfortunately this is the only one that had a room available for tonight and I definitely paid the consequences for it with a massive wasp infestation. I also want to advise anyone who stays here, before this specific holiday inn, I stayed at IHG hotels exclusively and had Platinum status as a rewards member because I was so loyal to them. I no longer have that and I've given up on IHG hotels because of this one hotel specifically.

Holiday Inn Express really came through. Even though I’m local, they made an exception and treated me with nothing but professionalism and respect—that matters. The rooms were very clean, well-kept, and comfortable, exactly what you want when you’re paying to rest your head. Staff was accommodating, the place felt organized, and overall it delivered above expectations. Solid experience, and I’d absolutely recommend it. ©copy right policy.

I am an over the road truck driver so when I am in town I always stay here. I always appreciate the great front desk service. I drive at night so when I come in it is morning time. The front desk is always busy but the workers always find a way to multitask and still make me feel welcome and wanted. Today Suhail was awesome!! He handled so much and still made the CLC process a breeze. It is a lot of info entering in the system but he handled everything like an expert. Thank you for the great workers and the great service!
