The customer service provided was satisfactory. However, I encountered difficulties in receiving a comprehensive explanation of the room’s location. The staff member’s voice was not sufficiently loud to fully convey the instructions until they physically pointed it out.
The quality of the bed and pillows was subpar. The pillows were flat, and the bed caused discomfort in my back upon waking. It is essential for hotels to prioritize guest comfort by providing comfortable beds and pillows. Unfortunately, I was unable to achieve a restful sleep.
The bathroom facilities were also disappointing. The toilet paper was of poor quality, and the bathtub was slippery, making it difficult to bathe without slipping. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was questionable, with visible dirt and grime surrounding the building, suggesting a lack of regular maintenance.
The room service food was overpriced and unappetizing, deterring me from purchasing it. Additionally, I noticed that a guest had left their room service food unattended for over 12 hours, which raised concerns about the hotel’s food service practices.

This place is below average there’s people with alcohol with who knows of what age not following front desk rules or showing any respect to the workers two were arguing right in front of me checking out the parking is a joke and they can’t mind their own business and stair at you oddly and minors running around all night smoking as well

Our stay was very enjoyable, and the hotel amenities, including the pool area, were generally excellent. However, we did encounter a few instances related to staff interactions that we feel warrant attention.
Evening Reception Policy Enforcement
Upon returning one evening, we intended to briefly attend the complimentary reception to get beverages. We were carrying 'doggy bags' with restaurant leftovers. While we respect policies designed to prevent the consumption of outside meals during the reception, a staff member quickly and insistently addressed the presence of these bags. We had no immediate intention of consuming the contents at the reception tables and were simply getting drinks. The gentleman's immediate suggestion to discard the bags, rather than allowing us the chance to store them, felt premature and somewhat overbearing. We recommend reviewing the communication strategy for this policy to ensure a welcoming atmosphere, even while maintaining proper protocols.
Pool and Fitness Center Observation
The pool facilities were very nice and well-maintained. However, we observed the same gentleman who was present at the reception entering the pool area. He appeared to conduct a detailed sweep of the area, seemingly looking for policy violations among the guests, before quickly departing. Immediately after, he walked past the weight room, where we noted minors were engaging in inappropriate behavior, specifically throwing balls and playing on the treadmills.
While we did not report these events at the time, the contrast between the intense scrutiny directed at guests in the reception and pool areas and the apparent lack of attention given to safety issues in the fitness center was noticeable. The overall impression was one of inconsistent policy application and potentially disproportionate focus on guests simply utilizing amenities.
Other than those couple of actions our stay was perfect, we loved the space and accommodations . I docked 1 star for service.

PRO: Fun for kids
CON: Horrible 12-Story Echo Chamber Design Flaw. These aren't my kids/teens. To listen to kids hollering at each other, carrying on, stomping, running, slamming doors was BEYOND infuriating.
For some context: I'm a motorcoach driver. My group (was thinking they were being helpful and) reserved me a room at their same hotel. They love this hotel and have been going there for the last 15 years.
The kids **loved it**. The 12 story attrium/courtyard is neat looking, and staff leaves the kids alone. Kids can live it up and enjoy their time. Ugh
I.... I hated
every
aspect
of it.
I was on the 12th floor. You can hear EVERYTHING going on. From the ground floor, to kids hollering at each other from one end of the hotel to the other. At All hours.
ALL suites face this courtyard.
I had work to do and sat in the living area of my suite. Constant noise (literally) going on was torturous.
First day it was older teenagers carrying on. The second day it was younger kids.
On the first night... after several attempts to call the front desk I managed to get ahold of the night auditor at 11:57pm. Asking about their quiet time. She said it was after 10pm. I told her it was nearly midnight... and to please do something about it.
The next morning I spoke to the manager on duty. He said they are kids and they just run away. And they don't know which rooms (or groups) the kids belong to. And with the courtyard being open at all hours.. there's no way of kicking people out of that space. I asked, and he said there were FOUR groups of kids staying at that time. GROUPS, AS IN LARGE GROUPS. He then explained "there will be security tonight", so it will be better.
NO. This didn't help. More carrying on the second night and well past midnight. Again.
This hotel makes their money by pandering to groups of kids and offering the (false) hope of solutions to other guests.
If I was a parent or group >> go here.
Anybody else>>> AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.
And regarding the room: the bathtub instantly backs up. It's personally gross to stand in 6" of dirty shower water. It would be impossible for staff to clean the tub, without noticing this issue. Gross.
Regarding the free breakfast: there are plenty of options for the buffet, as well as the oatmeal and cereal offerings. The wait line for the chef station was ridiculously long and extremelly slow. Clearly more help is needed in that department. (Thank goodness I avoided that and just chose from the buffet)
ROOMS: 2 ⭐️
Well equiped. But experience was a complete failure.
SERVICE: 1⭐️
Staff fails to maintain rules or set expectations with group leaders... UTTERLY AND COMPLETELY failing other hotel guests.
LOCATION: Convenient access to the highway. PLENTY of parking in the rear of the hotel.
I have read over other reviews for this location prior to leaving my review. I've also read the hotel's replies. So NO... I will NEVER recommend this hotel. I will NOT be staying here again. I will NOT accept this isn't your experience standards... blah blah blah. It's a bunch of hot air. You guys know the issues with this design and how it affects other guests. This issue is NOT something new.
If you gave me a MONTH OF FREE nights... I would reject your offer. Without hesitation.

Excellent hotel. When traveling to St. Louis, I stay at this Hilton location. My experience is that this location has always been well maintained and the rooms are clean and in excellent order. The only concern I had during my recent stay is the cook that managed the daily egg and omelette orders. The young lady was a very heavy set white female. She had no clue about cleanliness and order. In the past, the cooks that I have encountered on previous stays were outstanding. This young woman was very sloppy and unclean and the kitchen reflected her demeanor and personality. She would not wipe out the skillets after cooking a prior guests omelette. It had left over egg and vegetables. The omelette ingredients in her work area were intermingled and the preparation surface was in disarray and looked unclean. This was a horrid reflection on the Embassy Suites Hilton brand. On three occasions she walked out the kitchen to obtain more eggs and oil for several minutes while several skillets were on the fire. It was clear this young lady was in the wrong role. It was absolutely pathetic how she was appointed to handle such an important job for guest. It was the worst breakfast experience for me ever at Embassy Suites. Other than that the rest of the experience was great.
