Conveniently located near St. Francis. Staff is great. Rooms and beds are comfortable. This is by far the best choice if you're in Cape.

I will start with the bad. The front desk clerk Jamison was the rudest and most disrespectful person I have ever dealt with in hospitality. When confronted about his disrespect he just piled on. I asked for contact information for both his manager and corporate office and he told me to “look it up”. I traveled for work for almost 10 years averaging living in a hotel 42 weeks of the year and have never seen a gust talked to this way. We had a group of 9 with 3 rooms and one of the guys had a family emergency and was at the hospital with his daughter so couldn’t be there. His name was on one of the room and we booked with priceline so he told us without him, his ID and credit card we couldn’t get that room (this room was already payed for with a credit card belonging to one of us there). His only response when asked how to fix it was to call priceline. The whole time he had the phone to his ear and said he had been on hold for 15 min. I asked him if he could put the phone on speaker so he could hear if someone picked up but still give me the attention and guidance of how to fix this situation. He smarted off at me saying “ no why do I need to do that” I told him because I felt like it was disrespectful. He just kept becoming more and more of a smart ass. So I went outside to call corporate as the lady that booked the rooms called Priceline. When I got ahold of corporate rather quickly they were willing to to help right away. Priceline was trying to call the desk to fix the issue and the lady that was on the phone with them told him they are calling and could hear the phone ringing but he told her he was still on hold and would answer the phone after this call was done. Corporate was also trying to call him and he wouldn’t pick up for them either so the told me they were sending a fax and email and magically things got fixed. This took about an hour just to get checked in. Now yes I got upset and told him he didn’t need to be a prick and I’m sure some other stuff (while on the phone with corporate). He threatened to have me trespassed so I shut up and walked away as 8 others didn’t need to get punished for this guys ego and my temper. The next morning I talked with the property manager Alex and explained everything (even my behavior) and asked him to please watch the video for himself. Alex was very apologetic and told me that is not how his employees are trained ( I told him I know that isn’t the standard but needed him to be made aware). I can only hope that he watches the whole video where there is no bias and takes corrective action. As for the rooms and locations they are fine and run of the mill for this price range. Outlets on nightstand didn’t work and shower floor was very slick (I put a hand towel down to stand on so I didn’t slip) but otherwise everything was fine and average.
