  This hotel needs some help. I know there are not a lot of options in the area, but this is a known brand and should have better quality control. They are having trouble with staffing as multiple staff were pulling double shifts, but I was there for 5 nights and my room was serviced once and I was told the room would be serviced every day. I asked for fresh towels - they didn't have any clean ones. Gym was out of order. Breakfast is from 630am to 930 am but they were out of food by 9am. I never saw a manager on site, just the front desk staff. There was one staff member show tried to help, Sedona but she was limited with what she could do. Before the season starts, this hotel should get some proper management and fix it up.

  The rooms are clean and comfortable, and it's located close to attractions, and easy to get to. Service is excellent; specifically Celeste who works the front desk in the evenings.

  Check in was horrible. The young girl was very rude. She was outside somewhere originally. When I walked in no one was at the counter and I just waited there thinking someone was possibly in the back or helping someone. Once she walked inside she walked behind me and around the corner to the counter and I said hello. She never greeted me. In fact minutes go by and she said “you say something?” I said, I said hello. She said oh and sat down. A few more minutes go by and she said do you need something. She was rude and unprofessional the entire time she checked me. She was sarcastic and said oh I didn’t know if you were here for groceries. Being that it was 10pm and we were exhausted I did not escalate the situation and because she looked like a child, maybe 18. However, that’s no excuse to tolerate this behavior as a company and she should be properly trained if she’s going to be in hospitality. Everyone else was good. The person at the front the next day was pleasant and the room keepers were very nice. Breakfast could’ve been warmer but that’s not a huge deal. I can obviously see this young lady was a fluke however she put a very bad taste in my mouth for holiday express and I don’t think we’ll choose them again.

  Rooms need to be cleaned better, this hotel needs updating. The people were nice.
