The staff is so helpful and will go out of their way to ensure the guest has a pleasant stay. Also, the pool water was warm! Not the kind where you slip in one appendage at a time or grin and bear it until you get used to it. Could not have asked for more.

This is a nice hotel. Has a pretty decent breakfast. Over all nice stay except for the very early morning fire alarm that was a faulty alarm. But we are blessed that it wasn’t a real emergency.

Our stay this time was better than the last two. We didn't see any bugs this time. The room could have used a little attention. The carpets didn't look like they had been swept from the last guest. The place looked busy so it might be a case where the cleaning staff had to cut somewhere to get the rooms ready for check-in. They were still turning rooms over late in the afternoon. They were working very hard so we didn't give them any grief. The staff were friendly and helpful. Had a small billing issue that was resolved very quickly. We stay here frequently for family visits. We did experience the race track noise that others refer to in their reviews. It was not loud enough to keep us awake. It did however make the TV hard to hear. The race track is not the Hotel's fault. They cannot help that a race track is close to them. All in all it was a great stay. We already have our next stay booked with them.

We checked into this property Oct 3 at noon and we're checked out around 12:30. We are from Davenport, Iowa and we're in Missouri for the Suicide Prevention Awareness walk in Joplin.Upon arriving we checked in, put our luggage in room, and we're leaving to go to Precious Moments when the GM's children my grandchildren asked if my other grandchild could stay. Received a no she could not so the GM called my son, over it, I received a phone call from him threatening all of us, so went back checked out. Received another call from my son that he had been to the property and viewed video of one of my passengers threatening him. If it was viewed by him, GM had To do it. There are privacy laws GM can view it but not just anyone who doesn't work there and her boyfriend does not. He may do there lawn care but is not an actual employee there. But again we received a bunch of threats. This was a personal matter between family and had nothing to do with the business at all. There for in my opinion the GM should have waited to address this issue after work not while at work. We left this property to avoid any issues as we were in Missouri for the suicide Awareness walk, not the drama or anything else.If the GM would do this to family what would she do to strangers that she is upset with? Call her boyfriend and have him come to the property and cause havoc with someone? Also for the Past 4 month she has taken her children to work with her and they remain on property while she at work, no matter 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift. In my opinion this GM needs replaced evidently she can not separate, personal, private life from work and her job
